Nov 26 2023 Update: Ive had and used this case exclusively for over 4 months now. Im a guy who carries there phone everywhere and I work alot in dirty, sandy, wet areas. This case still looks new. HINGE PROTECTOR: Still funtions as new. FRONT DISPLAY COVER: Still functional althogh it has some marks on it. HOLSTER: I dont use the holser as much as I thought I would but it has functioned well when used. PROTECTION: GREAT I've dropped my phone a few times with no signs of damage to the phone or the case. Dirt intrusion inside the case has been minimal, this has been a problem with other cases in the past. COLOR: PLEASE, PLEASE MAKE A BRIGHT YELLOW COLOR AVAILABLE. Us working guys need a bright yellow option so when the phone is dropped on the work site it can easily be found, also great for those with impaired vision to find where they put their phone down. GENERAL OBSERVATION: I've seen a comment here that states this case is slippery, that has not been my experience at all. The case has a textured design that makes holding it effortless. I dislike those rubbery cases because it's been my experience they are very difficult to get out of the front pocket of my jeans, they don't last and they let dirt and sand get into the case interior. FINAL COMMENT: This case is well worth it price, buy it. ORIGINAL REVIEW: 12 2023 Received my Flip5 few days ago along with samsung ring case. Was not pleased with the ring case as unlike the Flip4 ring case the ring only attaches to one side-the back side of the case, offers no hinge protection at all and relies on two sided tape to hold front on. Might be fine for some but not for really active users. This Beatle case was not cheap $36 but it seems well designed and of good quality. FIT: The Flip5 fits in it well. Phone functions well in it, all buttons work well, USB C cables all fit. PROTECT: Good corner and camera protection. Much easier to keep a grip the phone. HINGE: covers the entire hinge, sturdy but dose not automatically close when the flip5 is folded. It's a ez movement of the index finger to snap it closed, and it seems to stay closed until the phone is opened. OPEN-CLOSE: The phone opens and closes easily, in-fact more easily then with out any case as it's easier to get a grip with this case on it, however unlike the original Motorola DPC500 Microtac flip phone, the Flip5 can't be easily opened one handed with or without this case, although it can be done with this case, it's takes a little practice and nimble fingers. KICKSTAND: Kickstand works well with phone when vertically oriented but not as well when horizontally as the hinge protector interferes and makes it rock a little, it still works only will be a little lopsided. FRONT SCREEN PROTECTOR: touch still works well however the screen protector plastic seems a bit soft. Mine already had some small marks on it when it arrived, hopefully the screen protector can be ordered separately and easily replaced from Supercase. Another reviewer here wrote that he put a tempered glass screen saver on the front display and removed the one from the supercase, sounds like a good workaround. HOLSTER: again seems well designed and well manufactured. The Flip5 fits well in it when oriented with the front screen inward toward the hip and the usb port down. Easy to get the phone in and out of the holster and it seems quite secure when in it. While I can remove the phone from the holster one handed its not a fluid movement, where it is a simple task when using 2 hands, quick, simple and effortless. Returning the phone to the holster is a simple one hand operation, it snaps in and you know it's secure. The belt clip is robust, the clip rotates and is about 1" wide, should accommodate a belt of 1-5/8" wide, seems easier to use with the clip towards the front, but gives you the choice of any position 360°. I don't think anyone will need to worry about the phone falling out of the holster. Also seems comfortable to wear even if you have some belly roll, Dwane Johnsons abs not required. OVERALL FIRST IMPRESSION: I like this case, I'm glad I purchased it, I'd buy it again. I was concerned about it being to big, it's not. Good Job Supercase!

This case worked for me balancing design and protection for my Galaxy Z Flip 5. Love the carbon fiber and sturdy design. How the case will hold up only time will tell. Only concern is the flap for the hinge protection and how it will handle a drop. Overall, I feel this case should provide adequate protection for accidental drops from my hand or desk should it ever happen. My biggest dislike is the plastic front small screen protector. It does not have glass like clarity and does not handle cleaning well. It build up oil, dust, and grime overtime that I cannot remove thoroughly with alcohol as they adhere to the plastic screen which drove me nuts. I removed the front screen plastic protector and installed a tempered glass screen protector in place to complete this case to my tastes. Also note, I was concerned this case would not fit with the camera tempered glass protector that came with my glass screen protector but to my surprise it did and looks even better as it filled in the gaps when I installed it around the camera lens without the camera lens glass protection installed. With this case, some of my durable type Anker USB-C cables could not plug in all the way, but my Ugreen USB-C cables worked. Be aware not all USB-C cables will work with this case. Likes: - Carbon Fiber look and Tough Design Aesthetics - Protection - Integrated Kick Stand Dislikes: - Front cheap feeling screen plastic protector that does not hold up well to oil, dirt, and cleaning overtime - Kickstand works, but has sharp edges that pokes. Would prefer if corners and edges were smoothed out - Not all USB-C cables may be able to plug in to charge with the case installed - Hinge flap protection feels vulnerable to breaking if dropped at certain angle as it is kept closed by a spring and not magnets. Only time will tell.

Fit my husband's phone perfectly. Love the color. We ordered it in green. We have used this case before and it does a great job protecting the phone from drops. Belt clip is sturdy and the case feels great. Overall very happy.

I can't believe that there are one star and two star reviews when the phone case does its job - protect the phone when dropped. Drop it far enough or hit it the right direction and any case will break! The trick is to NOT have the phone break! Plus the complaint about having to flip the hinge protector down. I just opened and closed my phone now and my hand on the back automatically closed the hinge cover. It's really a non-issue, yet listed as a complaint. I've never left it open. I've dropped my phone a few times without any damage to case or phone. Here is my evaluation after a year of use. The Beetle cover makes the phone a bit thick when in pocket, but that's part of the price of having some protection, like the 1980s big bumper blocks for the 5 mph crash thing. I could live without the stand, which could thin the case a bit. Still it does its job. Still better than having one of the giant phones that no longer can fit in one's front pants pocket. The Flip fits about any pocket, even with the Beetle case. I need that as a motorcyclist. But no way I'm having even the smallest phone fit comfortably in the side pocket and no way I'm sticking my phone half hanging out of a back pocket. So the Beetle does the job as well as possible. The case also is just wide enough making it not fit in my ProClip phone holder in my vehicle, almost but not quite fitting. But that's more of an issue for the ProClip than the phone case. Nice part is that the lower portion of the Beetle case is that it slides off easily and the phone fits the ProClip then. So I can live with the situation decently. Again, the stand could go away for me, maybe a case that doesn't have it, but I know that features like that sell others on the case. I forgot that it was even there, never using it. I've recently tossed the belt clip thing, not having ever used it either. Be nice without the extras for my use. So, in spite of minor issues, it does deserve a five star for the past year I've had it. I sure hope if I drop my phone that the case will break first. I'll trade $30 for $1000 damage any day.

The clip that holds the phone in place broke off from the case we bought October 2025. When we bought a new one the case is not aligning correctly with the phone, leaving a gap. Other than that it works fine.
