Easy application and strong!
I repaired an outdoor curtain with this and it was easy! Adhesion was great! We had a huge wind storm and this tape held while the rest of the curtain was torn again. :-( Recommend!

Excellent purchase
Bought this to repair a tear in a cover for our patio chair. I like the roll version vs patches as is more efficient and economical. This product is easy to use. Just unroll what is needed, cut to length, and peel off the backing. The place it on the tear. Press down on it and its done. Just used it last night so it is working good. Can not judge yet on how long it will hold but hoping it will.

Works great!!
This is exactly what I needed to fix a few small holes in my awning that a neighbors tree fell on. Even though it was raining, this was still able to be applied and stick. I just dried the area a bit and the tape stuck on the first try. It's still on and it's been raining all day long. I thought this product would fail for sure, but i was totally wrong! I'm so glad that I purchased this to repair my awning. I would 100% recommend this to others.

Well made and very sticky - but for a less than pristine fabric repair it didn't hold up
At first we were very happy with this material - looks and feels like the canvas. But after having it peel off in use on a leaf vac, it is clearly not up to that task. Modest dirt and texture of the base fabric are not its friend.

Helped with my convertible top, but faded super fast!
UPDATE Nov 2023: OK, the reviews said tape faded quickly so I accepted that & went with it anyway, but I was stunned how fast that happened! I had always planned on redyeing it with RIT dye, but you can see from photo that RIT hardly absorbed at all. I instead used Angelus leather paint in matte black and it did a reasonable job at blending the bleached out strip and doesn't look like paint at all! Still a little disappointed at the edges of the tape that want to unravel and make it less clean looking. The "after" photo was later in the day so doesn't do an apples-to-apples visual comparison in the photo, but the color matched pretty well. Wish this issue wasn't so prevalent on an expensive car. Otherwise, my car looks pretty good for a 2006. Also I'm glad that it's extra protection since we've had our first rain of the season and I didn't worry about seepage through the gap.ORIGINAL review Oct 2023: My 2006 MBZ 350CLK convertible top started splitting, which I've now learned is quite common. Dealer discounted my concern and had no remedy other than suggesting every night I wet a towel and drape it over the seam unless I wanted to replace the whole top and mechanisms. Practically overnight it got to the point of seeing white batting fluff (see photos on right) and I was concerned the top might leak when the rains come this winter. Would prefer to sew it together or some other mechanical fix, but the problem is the pressure of the stretched top renders those reattachment fixes temporary, as many before have attempted and documented. Enter King Mountain canvas repair tape. Was very easy to work with. I made a frog tape template and made sure the straight manufacturer's edge was the visible edge with the cut edge hidden under existing fold, all one piece. 1 star off because the manufacturer's edge wasn't sealed and looks like it'll fray and had started to in places, new out of the box. I attempted to resolve this by putting a thin line of industrial glue to seal up the edge prior to applying to the top, but instead of drying clear, it dried white against the black, so a bit of a hassle to pinch off those obvious bits, but at least I didn't make a mess on the actual top. King Mountain tape still wanted to fray a bit after application, so not a perfect edge as I wanted, but I feel it is a good compromise, not only aesthetically, but functionally. It doesn't scream "repair needed" from afar anymore and I believe this fix will prevent leaks--we'll see.

Quality and easy to use
There sure was a lot of products out there for canvas repair. Read the reviews on this one and ordered it in. It was easy to use and it looks like a great quality product. We had a very slight less than criticized chair in our pontoon boat cover applied this on the front and back of the canvas, put the post back in place to hold that area of the canvas up and it’s been holding fast now for the past month with no issues.

Great value
Used it on my ragtop for the Caddy. Easy to clean and cut. Still looks brand new despite all the rain here in Florida. Adheres easily and is flexible somewhat with no creases. Fantastic A+ product
