Kirkland Signature Stretch-Tite 12" X 3000' Food Wrap

I don't bother buying those small rolls—they're cumbersome. You have to hold the roll on one hand, tear wth the other, and still end up with a clump you have to separate. With this big one, I keep in on the counter and am able to use two hands to tear and place onto whatever I'm wrapping. Easy.

I quit buying store-bought brands of cling wrap decades ago because the stuff was useless. This food-service grade wrap is fabulous to work with. It sticks and can be re-used. Works great to cover cake boards in cake decorating.

Our local grocery used to carry the smaller 250 foot roll, but discounted for a house brand (ugh). I was so sick and tired of playing with other plastic wraps, and though just a bit more expensive than other brands, it is worth every penny by saving frustration. This wrap is excellent quality. Even on bowls that might be wider than the wrap itself...it truly stretches and then seals! I will never go back to other plastic wraps. This is our second box. It lasts a long time, and I will purchase more in the future.

Don't underestimate the value for something as simple as saran wrap. Almost every household has this and I used to think it didnt really matter which brand you went with. For years I would always pick up the value brand thinking this is what all plastic wrap was like. The one time I decided to splurge for this (I actually bought it because it was huge and thought this could take care of my wrapping needs for years) and used this for the first time, I knew I had to log into Amazon to give it a good review. The plastic wrap works about 76 times better than the cheaper brands Im used. When I used this to cover a ceramic bowl, it stuck to it so well that it probably created a seal. Im used having to wrap layer over layer just to get the thing to stay on. Not this... one sheet was all I need to cover my bowls. It's hard to explain how it works so well but it just does. Have you ever seen a window that was so clean that you arent even sure if the glass is there? Thats what this reminds me of.

We really recommend this. Im moving to Germany and just cant live without this in the kitchen so i got this online. Durable and last more than a year for a family of 5.

I bake and make a lot of scratch foods. I often make enough to freeze a lunch or a loaf of sourdough bread. When I double wrap with this food wrap and then freeze it keep so well. I took out some banana nut muffins that were over a year in the freezer and they were great. It was a recipe with a lot of fat(butter, crème fraîche) but still amazing when microwaved tasted fresh baked!
