A beautifully done Edition to my Shoemaker library. Here's to more future releases. Was a bit reluctant at first to purchase this as it said it was modernized for 21st Century readers. I said NOOO... It's Shoemaker's original style of writing which make the stories so enjoyable. Anyway I did but it just to see how bad the damage would be. I was surprised that very little had been changed, since I compared it to the originals that I have. For example, "Indians" and "redman" have been changed to "Native Americans" I also liked that they kept the original appearance of the book with illustrations and style of the original. Will continue to get this series as more become available.
