Maybe it's the Berber carpet. Maybe my throw rug throws it off. Whatever the reason, while this gripper is better than nothing it's by no means the end-to-creep I thought it was implied to be. I finally duct-taped the throw rug to one side of the gripper and now the creep is much slower across the Berber. So it's helping the cause, at least. And this was supposed to be the super grip version?

Warning: This item contains strong noxious odors. Upon opening, I became very light-headed and developed a headache which lingered for hours. I had to air this item outside for 24-hours before I could actually use it. The odor was either some type of carbonyl (formaldehyde) or diisocyanate (given it's foam composition). The product grips fine but the initial odor is a concern.

So far so good! I love the texture and the weight (light). If it stops working I'll let you know!YES - it stopped working - from 5 stars down to 2.This is one of those - "Don't waste your money" items.And I purchased TWO! Useless!

Great product at great price. Does exactly what it is meant to do, and that is prevent my rugs them from sliding across the floor. But don't worry, it doesn't glue your rugs down, as they are easy to pick up when you vacuum/mop, AND the gripper remains stuck to the rug. Perfect. And, it is quite large, so I was able to trim it to fit my rug and have leftover to put under furniture to prevent it from sliding across the wooden floor.

Dog still crumbles the rug as he slides in to home plate to get traction. Large improvement though from just having a rug on tile.

These things really work. I had tried some rug tape, and then some sticky foam pads. Neither of those worked very well and they were a hassle. With this, you just cut it to the approximate shape of your rug and lay the rug on top. voila! The rug doesn't move--unless you want it to. Then you just lift the rug off it and move the gripper where you want it.

It grips but not very well on tile. This probably works way better on carpet.

This works great for the rug we have at the bottom of the stairs in the basement. We have the rug on tile and it keeps it secure.
