Smells great/helps repel mosquitos
I originally purchased this item along with citronella oil to repel mosquitos, but it smells so nice I use it with a cool mist diffuser as well. After reading a couple reviews claiming that this product smelled like cat urine, I think I can help provide some needed clarification. When sniffing pure cedar wood essential oil straight from the bottle, the scent concentration is very strong (100%) and some may relate it similarly to a strong urine scent; HOWEVER, when blended with a carrier oil (always blend with a carrier oil) and used in a diffuser such as the one I described above, it smells like a plank of cedar wood. When blended with other oils -such as eucalyptus and lavender, it can be very relaxing like you’re at a spa. Currently I am using a blend of this cedar oil, eucalyptus, and lemongrass oils to fill my home with a spa-like aroma. I hope this helps! Enjoy!

I love juniperus cedarwood EOs...but NOT this cedrus atlantica!
UPDATE: I realize now, that this is the Cedrus Atlantica, whereas the other brands of cedars I've gotten prior, fall under the juniperus variety. My disdain for THIS aroma may very well be due to the difference in the varying subs of trees. I'm changing my rating to a 3 from a 1 for that reason. I have no reason to believe this is of poor quality; it is more likely my own limited knowledge (which is just a more dignified way for me to describe my own ignorance)..But...The smell still really sucks imo.I will be on the hunt for another cedrus atlantica from another brand to make a comparison, though it won't be via my own personal purchase, because...ew. lol.*Unless it has amazing health and beauty benefits that are noticeable between now and the end of this bottle, as I WILL be testing it's touted skin and hair benefits, since it's already here and paid for. I'm frugal; this WILL get used one way or another. 😂As for Zongle itself; I am still considering this brand a thumbs up brand, unless/until I find otherwise. So far, so good! Price/product potency are promising!Original review: I have two other Zongle oils that are very potent and almost overpowering (which...GOOD! Use less, still strong aroma)...Cedar wood is my FAVORITE oil to date; I use it DAILY and mix it with everything. I was stroked to get my Zongle cedar here, knowing it was going to likely be potent with the sensible price tag (unlike many other brands)...This cedar smells exactly like a puddle of cat urine. Idk if it's a bad batch, bad storage/transportation practices, or if it's just typical for Zongle cedar...It is not good or strong in the diffuser at all, either...Totally bummed, but zongle peppermint and ginger are great and very potent; their peppermint is very close to doTerra; minus the soul sucking price tag. Much stronger than other brands of peppermint! Zongle Ginger is the only ginger I've ever tried; it stinks somewhat, really, but I'm assuming it's due to the fact it's ginger. LolVery potent; 1-2 ginger drops to 12-15 (other brand) cedar drops for a good balance. Same with zongle peppermint.Due to this, I will be buying zongle brand oils in the future, but this Zongle Cedar matches the smell that would come from if I were to bottle cat piss...No offense.Again; Idk if it's this particular lot or if it's typical...

Great for repelling MOTHS in the closet
This oil is Cedrus Atlantica and among the only few varieties of true Cedar oil known to actually work in repelling moths. Most "cedar" are related to Juniper, and are not true "cedar" varieties. In fact, nearly all of the "cedar" wood sold is not true cedar. No wonder they don't work! I pull out my drawers and place several drops of this oil directly onto the wood, so it soaks in, and it leaves the whole closet smelling great. No more moths! For the hanging jackets and shirts, I bought some of the fake "cedar" wood strips (they already had the handy hooks installed), which lose their scent quickly, and keep reusing them by placing several drops of this Cedrus Atlantica upon them. I've now been using this oil for more than 1 year, and I waited to write my review because I wanted to see how well it all worked over time. Very happy with it!

Nice smell, good quality.
I originally bought this as a flea killer, as I’ve read it kills fleas on contact. I have tried everything from bombs, traps, sprays, vacuuming multiple times a day for weeks and I still can’t shake them. This product has helped decline the number of them but I wouldn’t say it did it’s job.The reason I give it 5 stars is because it smells good, and I like the quality. It didn’t do what I hoped it would for my fleas but it’s all natural and has helped in that cause. Would recommend this product but maybe not necessarily if you have a flea problem haha.

Doesn't smell like true cedar.
I think this might be a different cedarwood than I was looking for because it smells nothing like actual cedar.

Smells good!
Smells good. I got it for flea control on my dog but am not sure how it is working out. She still has fleas but they aren't getting on me any more!

Buy to support organic, but pretty useless
2 stars for going organic, but it barely smelled woodsy.

Not pleasant smell
I bought organic cedarwood and organic lavender essential oil. Shipping is fast but The oil itself just doesn’t smell right.( Because I bought these two scents several times from big brands before. I thought I’d give this a try. )These oil aren’t pleasant. Sorry I have to give it a bad review, I really don’t like these.
