One of the best McFarlane Superman figures
I'm an action figure collector and a fan of Superman (among many other Comic characters) and even though McFarlane figures might not be perfect, I like them enough to add to my collection! I usually like the more classic looking versions of the characters I like and this is a great classic looking Supes, definitely one of the best so far in Todd's line! I wish the skin tone was less "pale" but that's nothing to do with the quality of the figure and more of a color choice by the manufacturer. All other colors are really nice and bright and he is one of the very few Supermen in the line to actually sport the yellow S logo on his cape, something that we, collectors and Supes fans, really appreciate! Articulations are what is expected from this line, nothing new there but it moves and poses fairly well!

Great Jim Lee Superman
For $19.99 this figure is great addition to any collection. As a basic Superman action figure this does the job. As a representation of artist Jim Lee’s designs from the Batman: Hush story it’s based on, even better. There may be better translations from other companies such as MAFEX but those come at a much higher price point. The included flight stand accessory is a much welcomed addition. Definitely worth picking up.

Pale Skin
Good looking Superman figure based on Jim Lee’s art.

A good Superman figure brought down by zombie gray skin
The moment I took this figure out of the Amazon shipping box, I gasped in shock: this Hush Superman has an ashen gray skintone befitting a corpse. This doesn't match what the official solicit photos from McFarlane showed, nor is it what the Gold Label Hush Superman figure had - there's no justification for this, it's incredibly offputting. Even worse, I received the Gold Label Superman/Atomic Skull set a day later and the comparison with that figure, who's not especially tan but at least colored like he has blood in his veins, is woeful for this one. It doesn't match the source comic artwork either, is it artistic license or a mistake to make him this ghoulish? Either way, I can't recommend this figure too highly for this one issue.
