Vallejo Model Color Transparent Colours Acrylic Paint Set - Assorted Colours (Pack of 8)

I wanted to write a review to let buyer's know about some of the quirks these paints have.I haven't used all the colours yet but here's what I've learnt:The Blue paint leans slightly cyan, I recommend adding a drop of red for every 2-3 drops of blue.The red changes to a light blue-ish pink as it dries.I found a drop of orange for every 2-3 drops of red helps.I recommend testing paint ratios and finding the right combination(post drying), before starting on your project.It's worth noting, these paints do not shift easily once applied, needing acetone or white spirit to remove; which damages the underlying plastics finish, clouding transparent plastics.Watering down the paint leads to a lighter effect, and multiple thin coats will likely lead to a more even looking result.Though transparent plastic likely won't be primed, so it's going to be a balancing act of thin as possible but thick enough to stay put on the surface.These are still very nice paints, I was perhaps too eager to apply then to my project.As long as you decide your colour mix before applying, you should be golden.

I always use Vallejo for my mini painting and have not been disappointed yet. I've used their transparent paints before and they have great colour and work a treat

I've yet to use these Vallejo transparent colours, but if they are the same quality as the other Vallejo paints I've used, then they'll get s big thumbs-up from me.Great selection of colours.
