I bought these shutters to replace the old ones on my house. I'm extremely happy with my purchase. I bought the unpainted ones so I could match the color of my siding. Installation was easy - I just drilled holes at the right spots and used the nylon pins included in the kit. If you buy the unpainted version, don't skimp on the quality of paint you use. And paint the shutters BEFORE you put them up, then touch-up the paint after you've mounted the shutters and also paint the nylon pins that hold the shutters. They look great! The shutters are made of a material that feels like nylon, which makes them lightweight and strong. I would definitely buy this product again.

Great products with wide selection of colors. Shipped to our door and saved money! One of the best things was we could order different sizes usually offered. We got the longer shutters to accommodate the size of our windows!

UPDATE: Install was a breeze though I only did the lower windows. Looks amazing! I wanted to get an initial review done on my first impressions. I will supplement after install. I bought the paintable Standard Cathedral Top Center Mullion, Open Louver Vinyl Shutters. Usually, I'm a wood guy all the way but recently had the house painted and afterwards really needed something. Timing was of the essence and decided for the price point I could go with vinyl and eventually replace with wood if I loved. I ordered and product was shipped as stated with 2 day, received it came through USPS great packaging with no damage. Upon opening I was immediately impressed with the look and quality. It's very light but solid. The wood grain looked very real, came in a gray primer type color looking ready to paint. The big question is how would it take to paint. I wanted to match to the front door so i went and got a quart of the matching Benjamin Moore and began paint. Great news it took the paint great, and the wood grain looks even better. After a couple of coats, I'm ready to install in the next few days and I'll add to this review. It's light weight so I anticipate no problems with the install. At this point extremely happy with quality and most of all cost! Wood, we don't need no stinking wood.

A little flimsier than expected, but good quality and color. Nice design. Easy to install, with two kinds of hardware. I had 3/8ths of stucco to drill through, and then wood siding behind that. The square drive wood/metal screw kit that came with the shutter pair worked perfectly. Instantly made a huge difference to the aesthetics of the house.

I would have given this a 5 star. But one box out of the 3, I ordered was missing the hardware. Although they are a perfect fit to replacing old mis-matched ones, that were on our house when we bought it. Definitely adds a nice character to the house's front windows. Easy to install.

Easy to build a screen for water filters. The Arizona sun bakes everything so well placed shade makes things last longer. Our old filters practically disintegrated in just under 12 years, the shade these provide will extend the lifetime of the filters. Invest a little and save a lot.

Quality Product and Looks great, but we were missing 1 bag of fasteners as I was trying to complete the job. I contacted the manufacturer and hopefully they send us the extra bag of fasteners we need to finish the job.

Love them, very simple to put up, there was no instructions so had to nip to youtube for ideas. You are mean to use a 5/16 bit on both shutter and siding if you are using the plastic push pins. However after fixing one this way and was not sure if it will be secure enough, on the second one I used 5/16 bit on the shutter but a ¼ bit in the siding, this made for a much tighter fit. I painted mine to match the trim on my unit
