It works just as good as I hoped it would. Makes dealing with garlic a whole lot easier.

This certainly helps with cutting down the time to mince garlic, but you'll need a little elbow grease to use it. It's nice that it comes with the mini brush to help with cleaning so that part is a bit of a breeze. Naturally, garlic will get stuck but it isn't hard to get out. I would recommend drying right away to avoid rusting.

I have been trying many garlic presses over the years, this one caught my eyes due to its rather busy design. Its basket for the garlic/substance to press is an L shape instead of a "basket" swinging and the press paddle is also pivoting. Relying on the sides of the SHORT handle frame head, the L shape will press garlic out the bottom sides. Because of its SHORT handle, i was not able to press very effectively due to the separation of 2 handles requiring the use of 2 hands, and with a few uses the bottom mesh already bulges out

and no it is NOT easy to clean. bunch of garlic goes to the side. I fill the hopper and crush. if its not designed to do that with ease throw the theory of this design OUT, start fresh! 4bux cheap Ikea crusher is better.

I have never owned a garlic press before, but I am so happy to have this one now. It is super easy and safe! It is a little more to clean then just using a knife, but I don’t mind for the benefit of how mush easier the crushing is.
