I read a review on another site that said it took both hands to use these (meaning they are very difficult to close.) Anyone else with this issue?

Where is this made (Resco Pro-Series Scissor-Type Nail Trimmer)?

Is there a safety guard on this trimmer?

With this design, is it advisable to err on the large size or small? (the clippers, not the dog). Our dog is about forty lbs. Thanks!
