Great replacement bulbs at a great price
These are great replacement bulbs at a great prices for a 10 pack.

Bright and white
Replaced some old bulbs in a new place. They made a world of difference. Would recommend these for anyone needing a 4 pin bulb. They are a bit long though so will not work with enclosed canister units.

Nice and bright bulbs! I bought more.
Wow, I ordered this bulb to replace my center one in the bathroom and it is so clear and bright. It makes my other ones look yellow. It was so nice and bright that I am ordering two more to replace my other ones that look dull now. I will just keep those for emergencies until I can get more of these next time. They have gone up in price since I got mine this weekend but I will pay more for them. They are that good!

White but maybe not bright.
I bought the 5000K version and while it was a whiter light it really was not that much brighter than the 2700K that came in the ceiling light originally. At 26w you just don't get that bright light for a darker hallway. Having typed that, it was cheaper here than I saw elsewhere and it did fit the 4 pin socket without a problem.

Bulbs burn out early
Bulbs burn out rapidly, constantly having to switch out bulbs, seem like the CFLs have poor quality control

These are direct wire bulbs
These are a good way to get away from ballast driven CFLs. Not too hard to rewire the fixtures. the fixtures were a combination of emergency light and stairwell light. using these bulbs, we used a separate emergency light fixture. the total cost allowed us to not replace the electronic ballast ($20) and the emergency Ballast ($50) all for about $30.

This bulb seemed to work just fine... but I've only had it 5 months and it just burned out.... [last one I had lasted 4 yrs,.a 5000 hours average] so this one must have been defective... I would like Amazon to replace it... I will be contacting customer service tomorrow.
