Nice stuff. It gives a food-safe finish in a reasonably-priced product that's pleasant to use. It has a drying time of about eight hours between coats and 48 - 72 hours before use, which is less than raw linseed oil. Like any oil-only finish it won't give you a high gloss, but rather something matte to semi-gloss, nor will it give you a hard protective finish. It has a light color and does a great job of bringing out the grain in a piece of wood. The odor is a lot less pungent than linseed oil.

Worked great! I put three coats onto a bowl I finished up. Love the finished look it gives and love that it’s completely natural/ safe for food use.

I use this oil for my French polishing of classical guitars. I just need a drop of the oil to act as lubrican for the pad. It also act as a gardener for the shellac when it cures. Great oil
