This is my 2nd purchase of this umbrella! I bought it as a gift for my nephew. My daughter loves hers. I can’t say enough about the quality of this umbrella. It is easy enough for kids to open and close it on their own and we don’t have to worry about the edges poking anyone around them! Each of the edges of the umbrella has a smooth cap. The material is also very durable and they come in great colors.

My son was asking for character themed umbrellas but they all looked really junky and overpriced, also not geared towards kids with their metal components and hard to open functions. I figured if I bought one of those (they're not really cheap either), it would be broken almost immediately. Decided to go with this and my son wasn't even disappointed that it wasn't covered in Minecraft once he tried it out. So easy to use! Provides great visibility with the reflective bits and bright color. Keeps him dry and is a wonderful size for kids. The material isn't bulky or heavy and a kid can easily hold and carry this on their own. Highly recommend!

Perfect for what I need. I use for walks outside to shade me from the sun. I don’t like using the collapsible travel type ones because when it’s windy those type of umbrellas aren’t steady and turn inside out. So I like using kid umbrellas because they are stable and the perfect small size as a parasol.

I was walking through Target recently with my five year old, who asked to try out an umbrella for kids that she saw. Looking at it, I realized that so many "kids" products are really just compact adult products that are re-packaged for kids. A lot of kids umbrellas are actually just travel umbrellas, and my concerns were confirmed a moment later when we discovered that she didn't have the strength to close the umbrella on her own. Thankfully, I looked online and found this one by Weatherman which appears to be actually constructed properly for kids. Everything they include in the product description here is true, from the safety caps to the foam handle and the exclusion of components that could hurt little fingers opening and closing the umbrella. I actually compared it to another umbrella for "kids" that we own and realized how many sharp pieces there are inside of other brands' products. We've bought two umbrellas for two of my kids and they both love them--they are incredibly easy to carry with them, to open and especially to close. They're able to step out the front door of the house, open the umbrella before walking to the car in the driveway and closing it all without delay. It's really shocking how well-designed and sturdy this umbrella is for kids, and it's put Weatherman at the top of my list for the next time I need an umbrella.

When I tell you this umbrella feels so sturdy and durable. Glides open and close. My 4yo has no issues with it. I want it for an adult umbrella. Definitely worth the price. Love the lifetime warranty.

This is an expensive umbrella for kids. But it lives upto the price. Its sturdy & very well built. The fabric is built to withstand rain & does not let through a drop. And of course, the design is elegant, attractive & kids love it.
