Welding Rod Storage Tube Container Quiver Barrel MMA ARC Electrode Holder 5kg

Tried to use my (coated) welding rods recently and found that the damp had got to them over the winter. Decided it might be a good idea to give them a better storage solution and this was it. Solid plastic container with an 'O' ring seal on the lid to keep the damp out. I also dropped a desiccant package in with the rods for good measure. Seems to be doing the job well enough.

I occasionally weld bits n bobs here and there, usually MIG but I bought a cheap stick welder from the "Middle isle of a shop" to give me options.When searching for rods to use with the welder I learned that rods at a minimal level have to be stored dry. Pro stick welders use storage ovens! Anyway, away from atmosphere would be enough at my primitive level so I bought this tube. It's reasonably robust and holds enough rods for my occasional use but the cap is fiddly.Screw cap, how hard can that be? There is a sealing washer that provides the airtight aspect of the tube and it is a fraction off so it sits slightly out of its seat. It stops the cap from screwing fully home unless you work the seal down with your finger tips. I have to push the seal down with my fingers while I screw the cap home. At 2 or 3 times a year I can live with it but daily or weekly, probably not
