Our shower is 20 years old and the original plastic pop-out drain cover is old and cracked in places--we were worried about whether we'd be able to replace it as it as it was specifically shaped for our shower (square with rounded edges). This MIBOW metal cover was the perfect answer for us. It is large enough to cover the old drain perfectly, lies very flat on the shower floor, and does not slip around because the grippy grey edge holds it in place--and it does a better job of stopping hair from going down the drain than the original drain cover did. Recommend.

I have long hair, the type that fills up a vaccuum brush after one use! This drain protector hardly traps my hair. I empty it maybe once every 2 weeks and probably take out 10-15 hairs at most. It slides quite a bit in the shower. However, we originally got the one that fits UNDER the drain and after less than a month, the thing traveled about 10 feet down our pipe! At least this one will not cost you a plumber!

I could't tolerate the old drain trap...hard water made it look so yucky. This is almost perfect. It would be better if I could secure it in the shower...it tends to move and might even be a problem for some who could step in the actual drain and harm themselves. I Haven't figured out what to do about the problem but it is a good drain protector.

Very good product. Unobtrusive fit over shower drain and effectively keeps hair out. Easy to clean. The best I’ve found for a flush mount floor drain in the shower.

This worked great in my shower. I just had my shower tiled, and this drain protector stays in place and keeps hair from going down the drain. I would highly recommend it.

This worked great for me. My shower drain was grouted and I had to chip away to get the drain loose so I could figure out why it was running slow. I accidentally chipped a couple of tiles. I purchased this drain protector because it was large enough to cover up the chips in the tile around the drain.

Catches all the hair and drains the water well. Didn't realize how much hair was going down the drain before this! Definitely recommended!

Good cover, much larger than I expected. Doesn’t fit an average tub drain but I’m using it in the basement for a larger drain.
