FINALLY! I really hope this company keeps this formula and does not cut corners on manufacturing in the future. Why? Because this is the first and only package of rawhides I have purchased over many years that actually keeps my pups busy for hours! They also do not fall off into pieces, as cheap rawhides do. Furthermore, these cause no gastrointestinal issues, diarrhea, or choking. At least, not through the entire 10 pack we went through. I have two large breed dogs, a Goldendoodle and a Shepard mutt. The mutt is a ridiculously rough chewer, who goes through typical rawhides, pig ears, Kongs, etc., so fast, I can't keep him satisfied. For reference, he chews a normal rawhide in 20 minutes, easy. He has to work on these for approximately 2-3 hours, or, I split them into 2 days of use. Regarding price, I'm sure it fluctuates, however, what I purchased these for, $30 or so, for 10 - six inch rawhides, was fair. It is fair not when only comparing quantity to quantity, but when longevity, quality and quantity are all taken into account, this is beyond fair! Finally, I cannot testify to if these are made in the USA or not, however, the company's information on the front of the package does read that they are in Indianapolis.

Do not buy this product! I thought I had found the answer to my prayers with this item, my puppy loved it. Boy was I wrong!!!!! I just placed another order and immediately cancelled. The first bone was great for my 15 week GSD puppy. I would let her have it for 15 to 20 minutes at a time. It lasted her for days. I took it off her this afternoon when I saw it was down to about 2". Just gave her the second one, she had it for 5 minutes and broke the entire end off and the rest of it is hollow. Thank goodness I am vigilant with watching her with chew toys or bones. These are dangerous and will never purchase again!Update: Feb/3/19I notified both Amazon and the seller. The seller got back to me with an apology and replaced the bones. I am now on my second bone and so far they are exactly as advertised. My puppy enjoys them and whey are solid. I will continue purchasing them as they keep my puppy happy. I will still be watching her like a hawk while she has them but am pleased with both the seller and the product.

I purchased the 4 inch compressed rawhide bones for my Cane Corso pup when he was teething from 4-6 months. They were of good quality and never split and I would just throw them away when they got too small. BUT, when I purchased the 6 inch bones because he is much bigger now, the 6 inch bones split and the layers come off very easily! I’m glad I always supervise him with his bones because he choked TWICE and I had to physically pull the layer of rawhide out of his throat! I don’t know if I received a bad batch of the 6 inch, but will not take the chance of ordering them again because they are so expensive and they almost killed my pup!

These are great! I actually complained to Amazon a year or so back about the lousy rawhide chews they were selling--and with ingredients traceable to countries associated with poor quality and poison outbreaks in products for dogs.I am sure I was not the only complainer--but someone was paying attention and Amazon, I appreciate it!These are nice and solid and stand up to some rigorous chewing! No nasty chemicals and sourced from India and the USA where product standards are higher. Those of us who still buy rawhide understand it has fallen out of favor but the substitutions only last an hour, or stink, or make my dog throw up. I'll stick with rawhide--and now I know where to buy them!

My pup loves these Raw Paws 6” compressed rawhide bones! She is a 1-year old-small breed-15 pounds-so the 6” is perfect. I did my research and the consensus is that compressed is a much safer option than regular rawhide. (Always supervise, though, is my opinion, no matter what the chew treat.) Takes about 2 days to chew it up-this is off-and-on chewing. Watch your pet when there is only about an inch left, & try to toss it in the trash then so that last hunk is not swallowed whole. I’m not always successful at that, but it has not been a problem for my dog; no chunks when it passes through her system. This bone has no offensive odor. I do make my pup chew her bone on the floor or on a designated sheet of some kind because it does leave a residue. If it gets on your clothes or furniture; however, don’t panic, you can scrape it off with your finger nail and then wipe off with a damp cloth. I haven’t noticed any staining.

I thought that these were American products (one recent poster also said he also bought because they were made in USA), but no, the description actually says "PACKED IN AMERICA", (interesting phrase to use) as they are actually MADE in INDIA.The packaging also says "Made by Raw Paws Pet Food with the help of mother nature - Maybe they make the packaging? I purchased these because i thought (my fault for not reading closely enough - lesson learned) they were made in the USA from USA beef because in the past other foreign countries have sold similar products here that when tested were found to contain heavy metals, chemicals, etc.Frustrating! I just spoke with a company rep and they were sorry for the confusion and were going to take a look at their packaging and issue me a refund - very helpful and had the right responses.

My eight month old loves these and they last and last! There is no/low odor. I was purchasing the 4" for him, but am now giving hi the 6" - he can still handle them and they last a long time.Excellent company - had an issue with a 4" one splitting and a small piece was extracted from the center. It was such a small piece I threw it away and notified the company. They replaced my purchase asap and are researching the issue so it doesn't happen again. Will purchase from them again.

My dogs typically devour any bone within minutes, but these lasted over an hour. There was no smell, stain, crumbs, splinters or otherwise mess left behind. Amazon had several issues fulfilling my original order, and despite the fact that it was in no way a reflection of the Raw Paws company, they still reached out and more than corrected the issue. Because of their fantastic product and customer service, I will be a repeat customer.

Started off well. My dog liked the chew but the bone unravelled into smaller long pieces and was choking on one long part lodged in her throat. Was lucky she was right beside me. That was the second bone and she will not get the remaining three. Dangerous😹
