Nice bento-style lunchbox
This lunchbox feels sturdy and solid. The base and lid are plastic. It features two removable, stainless inserts to hold your food. One insert is the perfect size for a small sandwich roll or two mini rolls, and the other is divided into two equal sections. I can fit one of my regular teaspoons from home inside the larger insert so that I donāt have to carry it separately or use a disposable spoon. The stainless inserts are removable for easy washing. The lid features four strong, clip-style latches to hold the box closed. The lid also has two small vents that can be opened or closed (for reheating?), though I have not put this in the microwave to test that and donāt plan to.One main thing I love about this box over my much, much more expensive, plastic-free PlanetBox, is the removable silicone ring that runs all the way around inside the lid and between the two stainless inserts. That silicone ring makes this box leak proof. But it does not run between the two smaller sections of the divided insert, so be mindful that foods may mix on that side. I had the lunchbox stored sideways in my work bag twice and only had a cherry tomato fall into the applesauceābut there were NO applesauce leaks from the box itself! It would be nice to see a zipper tote made for this lunchbox so that you could carry it (potentially flat) with a small ice pack, other treats, napkins, and longer utensils. Thankfully I already have a zipper tote for my PlanetBox Launch, and this just fits in it (with a slim ice pack) and a napkin. The two improvements I think would be useful for this lunchbox would be a leakproof seal between the two smaller divided sections and a carry bag.Overall I am impressed and very happy with this bento-style lunchbox. I love the leakproof lid, the strong latches, the divided sections, and the ease of cleaning. I have been using this lunchbox on a regular basis since receiving it free of charge for my honest review.

Nice-sized, useful
This is a really nice size for lunches. There's the big section for the main course, and it's large enough to put smaller-sized utensils in there as well. Then there's two smaller sections for side and fruit or salad. The lid has four clips, so it's not going anywhere. It's solidly on there and the food won't leak out.I know people complained about the two smaller compartments not being leak proof, which is true. The two smaller compartments can intermingle inside the box if you have liquid in there. I guess if you really want to put soup in it, you could use the larger compartment, which is leak-proof, but really, isn't that what thermoses are for?I think it's really handy, it works well, and it keeps portion size under control. And it's dishwasher safe, which is really important for me.I think, if I was going to improve on this, I would make all the compartments leakproof, maybe include a side pocket for utensils, and a handle. But overall, I'm happy with this bento box.

Handy, but could use a little improvement
I'm quickly becoming a fan of Bento boxes (late to the party, I know!). I have a couple for my daughters that they use for their school lunches, so I decided to order this one for myself.Pros: Good sized portion compartments, dishwasher safe (big plus!), two separate inserts that are easy to remove and clean.Cons: There's no seal between the compartments, so if you have anything that is slightly liquid or has juices, chances are that it's going to leak into your other compartments if you don't keep it horizontal at all times. This is the 4th Bento box that I've gotten, and I have noticed that the name brand boxes have a good seal between all of the compartments (Bentgo boxes are one example) and that is really key to making these things worthy of 5 stars. Despite lacking in that department, I still find this bento box is great for packing on-the-go snacks for car rides, or prepping homemade "Lunchable" style lunches that don't have the potential for any leaks.

Big enough for breakfast and lunch
This Bento box system contains 3 stainless steel removable inserts, that are deep enough to hold your breakfast and lunch. One side has 2 smaller inserts, the other one large insert. The small inserts will leak into each other so be careful what food you put in them. The larger insert is self contained and will not spill into the rest of the container. The top snaps in place easily and pulls open so that a child could open the box on their own. Because the inserts are metal, if you put the box in the refrigerator, the food will stay cold for hours. I wouldn't recommend pouring hot water into the plastic container as depicted in the video. I don't think it will heat up the food very well, and would probably be more trouble than it's worth. I would wash the metal containers by hand though the plastic box could go into a dishwasher. One side note: this would make a fantastic travel pet bowl for a small dog (or even a cat). The stainless steel bowls are deep enough for a days worth of food and water, and because the bowls pull out they can be cleaned easily. It would be really easy to pack for that purpose. A multipurpose box!!
