'Lego' quality.
I am very impressed with this product. The quality of the bricks is equivalent to Lego, as well as the instructions are (very detailed, step by step with colourful images). If is compatible with Lego too. It looks and feel like proper Lego.

Looks good
If you've got hours to build this it looks great when done, my grandson loved it, eventually.

Not a great product
Very flimsy when built, can’t really change from car to robot without falling to pieces in half a dozen places, got it for my boy a a birthday gift he was very disappointed.

Labels on box
Item arrived without outer packaging. So if needed as gift it won't be nice. After getting label off it stays sticky and still not ideal for a gift as everything sticks on it. If item is for yourself then probably it's ok as you can leave lable on it.

Good alternative to Lego.
There are so many alternatives to Lego, some are good quality and others, not so much. This brand seems to be at the good quality end of the range. Price wise it's probably not too far from Lego. It's a nicely modelled toy and my 11 year old nephew has enjoyed building it and playing with it. Instructions are clear so he only needed occasional help.

Very Impressive
I ordered this for my adult son because he has always loved Lego and still buys the advanced sets as a hobby. He was thoroughly impressed with this set. When he first saw this product, he initially thought it was Lego, until realising that it was produced by a company called Sillbird. Upon opening the box and examining all the pieces of the set, hecouldn’t tell the difference between this and Lego! It’s virtually identical to the real thing, and indeed fully-compatible with official Lego pieces/sets.The build itself was quite challenging, given the sophisticated nature of the toy itself (and the fact that there are 998 pieces in total!). But like most Lego Builds, this ‘Yellow Thunderbolt’ was fun to put together, and the instruction manual is produced in the exact same step-by-step fashion that Lego manuals are. From pictures to design, the entire experience is incredibly authentic. In terms of design, both the car and robot modes have a very aesthetic appeal. ‘Yellow Thunderbolt’ looks very cool as both a car and a robot. However, whilst this toy does have a strong structure, there are issues. In car mode, ‘Yellow Thunderbolt’ rolls along nicely and is quite solid, but does have a very low ground clearance. In robot mode, ‘Yellow Thunderbolt’ stands up very well, and has very good articulation in the arms and legs. It’s a more poseable transforming toy than (say) Lego Optimus Prime, but the lack of rigidity makes this ‘Yellow Thunderbolt’ more prone to falling over, and not as playable as other transforming model kits.As far as converting this thing between robot and car modes, ‘Yellow Thunderbolt’ is fairly easy to transform once you figure out how (the instructions manual does explain how to do so), but care is advised, given the level of articulation and numerous moving pieces present in the toy. Pieces did fall off during transformation, though obviously they are easy to fit back into place. There’s also a nice sword to build for ‘Yellow Thunderbolt’ to wield in robot mode.Overall, a great kit, a challenging build, and despite some nitpicks, a cool transforming robot that’s made of something that’s virtually identical to Lego! Recommended!
