The media could not be loaded. I am very surprised by the premium quality of the lamp and the packaging. It comes with a UK and EU plug (add-on) that can be swapped which is amazing and I think it's a great idea for every user.The lamp is solid, with a nice way to turn it on/off. The logo on the stand is a touch slider that will adjust the brightness on the lamp and partially illuminate to display the actual brightness level. This is very smart and looks amazing. The wire is long enough and will work for every type of desk/table. The colour is amazing and you can wipe/clean it very easily.You can rotate it, tilt the head of the lamp and set it up the way that works for you. I think I realised how helpful it is after a couple of days. I spend pretty much 15-16 hours a day in front of a screen due to my job requirement and I get a lot of headaches and migraines. During the second day of using this lamp, I realised that the headache was gone and that the light was very gentle with my eyes. The brightness is actually very good and will help you if you work on a computer or if you're doing any kind of craft and your eyes are getting tired.I think the price is quite high (£249), however after using this product for a week I realised that it's worth the money. You get what you pay. I can't even explain how it works but it works.I would highly recommend it (especially if you're suffering from headaches due to the extensive use of computers and screens).

I'm going to start off this review by asking a question - Do you need one of these?There are many ways of acheiving daylight-type illumination with decent CRI in a room. And whether you suffer from SAD, or you require lighting to work or play this lamp may or may not be your answer - or at least, not the most cost effective one!Our use for this lamp is for lighting an art desk. Our eyes are important to us as jobbing artists and designers, and we want to be able to work in the best possible unnatural light to make the most of our time. Colour rendition and eye fatigue are big issues for us.So, how does this Lumie lamp compare to similar lights we have?First impressions of packaging are very pleasant. The lamp comes in a large brown, branded box. The packaging inside is all recycled egg box type card. The lamp is snug in the packaging and the whole unboxing is a nice experience - it would make a super gift.The lamp itself is a scandi-chic looking medium-sized desk lamp. The green colour is very pleasant and it's a happy little piece of minimal design. Some reviews have berrated the on/off/level button on the base of the lamp. I have to say, that we (our daughter included) all found it very tactile and inuitive. Essentially you slide your finger across the illuminated "Lumie" logo on the lamp base and the lamp dims or brightens in response to your finger. Let's hope it's a reliable method of switching! The lamp body itself is all plastic, but doesn't feel at all cheap. It balances on the base nicely and the head can be tilted on two axes, as well as the whole arm section rotating. For us, the lamp works very well at illuminating a work desk while keeping the direct light out of your eyes.The lamp head is covered with white plastic which acts as a diffuser - and it's a pretty good one. Compared to a Daylight Lighting Company lamp which we also have (which is a super lamp too) this Lumie lamp offers a light which is a little more diffused, but isn't quite as bright. Nothing wrong with either, they're just slightly different. Neither lamp is tiring on your eyes. So, if you really REALLY need a good-looking, bright desk lamp with close-to-daylight illumination - go on, treat yourself!

This lamp is super stylish and elegant looking! I love the light green shade that it comes in and feel it has a great classy modern look to it.The lamp can go pretty bright meaning it really lights up my desk so I can see what I’m doing, especially on a dull day! The bright light is also meant to be able to lift your mood and brighten up your day!The head, neck and stem of the lamp can all be adjusted so you can get that perfect angle!It’s a nice solid lamp which looks and feels to be well made. It’s a great addition to my office and I’m not sure I could now be without it.

This is a stylish looking lamp that mimics natural daylight to help with those suffering from SAD and to lift moods experienced during the winter blues.The lamp itself is sleek, the green colour on trend and it is adjustable to close up lighting, project and hobby work. A lovely lamp.

This is the best lamp I’ve ever seen, the quality is fantastic. Wish I was grey but the sage colour is stunning it will go with a lot of style’s. LED so it’s very cheap on your bills, £249 at the time and your paying for the brand and a quality product. Definitely recommend this lamp 100%.
