The suspension system is made of fabric webbing and the from and back part of the innner band have foam on. I am used to hard plastic bands with an inadequate piece of folded over fake felt.On this one there is two sliding vents on each side (see my photos of it open an closed) you push the slider up and you have two vents. The ratcheting system to tighten the head band works well, it is smooth and easy to operate. With other hard hats the ratcheting always seemed that it was either too tight or too loose as if the notches were always too far apart to adjust to my head size.I ordered the gray one with tinted visor, even though it is not a highly visible color it still has plenty of reflective tape all over it, plus who does not like wearing the stars and stripes on your helmet, just in case you forget where you are.My only gripe is that the tinted visor is likely to get scratched very quickly. I wish they would provide some sort of clip on protective cover o prevent scratches when not in use. I am not knocking any stars off for this as I knew this going in.Thank you for reading my review and looking at my photos of this product. This is a great safety helmet with a very secure webbing and chin strap. It is a very close copy to the Klein design. This helmet stays put and doesn't move around like some cheaper ones. My version came with tilt up safety goggles. The big problem with that design however is that it makes it almost impossible to attach most helmet light rigs. The goggles are too close to the helmet front and just tears off whatever light you attach. Even their own version of the headlight attachment will not work with the safety goggle installed. They have copied the breather vents of the Klein design; however, I have a problem with my helmet in that the vents don't snap shut. While wearing the helmet I had the left vent repeatedly drop open, again and again, this poses a real problem in rainy weather because their vent holes are much larger that the slots used in Klein safety hats. I also had a problem with the chin strap clip. The plastic clip must fit through a thin slot less than 1/8" thick, it is very hard to find that slot under your chin where you can't see.

Overall this is a nice 1-C helmet. The fit was great once I was able to fiddle around with the chin straps to get that just right. The dial in adjustable headband worked well, held it's place and is easy to access while wearing it. Visor holds firmly in place either up or down. I'm taking one star away as the helmet has several US flag stickers yet no where on the package, product or listing does it actually say where it was manufactured. I'm not opposed to buying foreign products, so long as they are transparent about it.

This helmet is surprising lighter than I originally thought it would be. It’s comfortable to have on, I just needed to do a few adjustments to get it snug to my preference. There are reflective material on many different angles and looks like white light. There is ventilation on left and right sides that open with a slide lever. The webbing and cushion inside the helmet hold your head well. The chin strap is a soft silicone like material and doesn’t give discomfort. The goggles has two lock positions of down and up. They have enough room and fit well over my own glasses.Overall it’s a great helmet. Protects the head, eyes and has ventilation. No real issues observed, works as intended.

This safety helmet has a comfortable fit. It’s fluorescent bright color meets high vision requirements.

I have hard hats for the usual reasons.... makes me look taller and as if I know what I am doing. I like this one because it has a bit smaller radius and when working under a car, or using grinders and such in my garage. It is comfy and stays put when I turn my head or bend down to pick something up. Great price point! Great Value!

I bought this to use in my garage when working underneath car while on hoist. Very cool looking helmet. Neighbor liked it so much, he bought one too. Very comfortable. Easy to adjust and get a good fit. I like the protective visor option, as well as light and earmuff attachment points as well. Happy with purchase.
