I have the newer designed black painted harbor freight tire changer and at first the centering cone didnt fit but it was due to the welds on the tire changer. took an angle grinder to the welds and touched up with some paint and the centering cone fits over the tire changer nicely.

Bought this to aid in mounting 4 new tires on 4 new wheels on my Harbor Freight manual tire changer. I needed to add a small spacer under the wheel to get adequate height so the cone had somewhere to go when pressing through the hub opening. Other than that, it worked great at getting the wheel centered in the tire machine during my install process.Well made, works as expected and I would buy this again. Highly recommended.

2.9" -1.67" Diameter Center Post fits the Black Harbor Freight manual tire changer. One thing you should note is the post on the tire changer usually has either a lot of paint or welding (or both) that gets in the way of sliding the cone down. So you will need to have a decent file on hand or perhaps a rough piece of sand paper to smooth it out enough to get into bare metal. I filed mine down as it wouldn't go through, it only took a few seconds, nothing major.My cone size as mentioned, fits my moms 2014 Honda CRV 16" wheel nicely. I'm sure it would fit most cars / SUV. I did a great job at centering the wheel. This is a must have with a Duckbill attachment.

I thought it would fit my Harbor Freight tire changer but it is too small so I can not use it.
