Decent heavy duty work gloves
I got these gloves to do work around the garden this summer and wanted something more heavy duty than standard site gloves and these have been a great find. Like most work gloves, the outside/back of the hand is fabric and the inside/palm of the hand is a rubberised material that helps with gripping. The inside of the hand grip is definitely of a higher quality than standard cheap work gloves and whereas with cheaper gloves the grip will eventually wear off, after multiple uses of these I have seen no degradation of the surface which is great. The outside fabric is thicker than usual work gloves to provide slightly more protection from small thorns and brambles if you were using these outside in the garden, but this is not the main purpose of the glove in my opinion and isn't foolproof as it is still just soft fabric. There is also an extra layer of coating in the thumb grip for durability, but whilst this is a nice addition, I do not think it is overly helpful unless you are really holding something in the crease of the area. It’s still a nice addition though and makes the gloves more durable, I just wouldn’t put it as a main selling point. The only downside is that because they are made of a thicker material they can be a bit stiff and tighter than standard work gloves, especially initially. Because of this you may feel your hand more compressed and have to take the glove off to let your skin breathe a bit more often. I have found this in the early stages of using these gloves but they do seem to be loosening up and I do have large hands so maybe an XL size would be better suited.Either way, if I am doing some DIY that is a bit more hardcore than standard small jobs, these have become my new ‘go to’ work gloves and after a few jobs around the house show no signs of wear, so although they are a bit more expensive than your standard work gloves I would recommend these for a firmer more durable work glove.

Ok for light tasks
These will give some protection for light work, whether it's DIY or some light gardening. They do not provide heavy duty protection. I used them to empty the attic out which had alsorts of rubbish, like broken wood furniture to alsorts of rubbish and these did ok.They are expensive, I would expect these to be cheaper for what they are. They quite a tight fit but I prefer that.

Seem undersized and overpriced but good if you need the claimed protection.
I was expecting something more for the price but they are more protective than general purpose work gloves, feel good once you've got them on and grip better.Compared with similar work gloves I have from a well known brand that cost 25% of the price these are definitely superior - but not by a factor of four! That said, depending on activity, the better protection against cuts and puncture wounds may be worth every penny. The sizing is definitely small but perhaps deliberate. Size 8 gloves are usually perfect for me but these are tight to get on. However, once on they are comfortable and the very snug fit does enhance your dexterity and gloves that are too loose can certainly impair it, increasing risks.4 stars from me. Would be 5 if half the price.

Good gloves that protect my hands and fit well
SummaryComfortable and protective against abrasive edgesUseI used them to move some glass around the garden that has sharp edges and therefore gave the gloves a good test. I found that they protected my fingers from the sharp edges and the surface of the gloves helped grip the glass, some of which was damp.Value for moneyGood value at £9.99

They do the job but are a little more expensive than similar gloves
This review is for the Durabull 1 Pair Work Gloves. Protective Working Gloves For General Purpose. Nitrile Coated With Firm, Anti Slip Grip. Heavy Duty, Cut Resistant Safety Workwear Gloves - (CT1780, Size 9, Blue). (9 (Large))£9.99 at the time of review. These gloves are tight to get over my wrist and tight fitting, but are comfortable enough to wear. The pinky is a little long on each glove but otherwise a good fit.The gloves are stamped EN 388 2016 with underneath the logo the marks: 3X43C. A search on the internet tells me that these mean:3 - Abrasion Resistance, 1-4X - Circular Blade Cut Resistance, 1-5 where X means 3 or over or had a false result4 - Tear Resistance, 1-43 - Puncture Resistance, 1-4C - EN ISO Cut Resistance, A-FNewer updates to EN 388 have a sixth test, Impact Protection, which is a Pass or a Fail.I tested these gloves with a craft knife blade and they withstood the cuts with no sign of damage (I didn’t have my hand in them at the time), and using them for general building/carrying work was fine as well.So they work, but they are a little tight and price-wise, they are on the higher end of average; you can buy similar gloves for much less than this.4 stars from me and if you go to buy them, be aware they are tight to put on and tight around your hand so I’m not sure if a larger size than normal would be good. I would also advise shopping around first as these gloves are not the most competitively priced out there.

A bit tight in Medium with slightly long fingers, but offering good protection
We recently had a wood burner installed and over the last few months I've been collecting and cutting wood ready for next winter. I've been using some old cycling gloves which protected against splinters but not much else, and these are now full of holes and ready for the bin.So I have been looking for something that will offer better protection and these are a decent solution. The palms are well protected and the material extends up the wrists. I found them very suitable for my required use and whilst I wouldn't stick them under an electric mitre saw I had no concerns using smaller power tools. Handling very splintered and rough wood presented no issues at all.The sizes on offer are numbered from 7 (small) to 10 (extra large), I selected 8 for medium, but found they are a bit tight, particularly around the palms. A couple of the fingers are also a little long. Size wise it would make sense to go one higher than might usually be selected. At £10 I think these are reasonably priced.
