Colorproof Violet Toning Drops

This product is very good

I've used various toning drops as my thick, coarse hair needs much more specialized shampoo and conditioner than a typical purple shampoo can handle. I don't think this beats the Schwarzkopf in sheer efficacy, but that one will also turn you neon purple or blue if you're not careful. It's about on par with my typical brand, but the bottle is half the size so I'm on the fence.

As someone who regularly bleaches my hair, I always struggle with brassiness. These Colorproof Violet Toning Drops are perfect for me. These drops effectively eliminate brassiness. The scent is pleasant, and the highly pigmented formula works well in canceling out unwanted tones. I mixed 1 drop into my shampoo and tested it out on just the top part of my head. You can see the difference in my photo.The ultra-concentrated formula allows me to control the dose for personalized toning, and it mixes easily with my shampoo. The dosage guide provided is helpful for determining the right amount to use based on your hair color.Dosage guide:- Silver/Platinum/White: 1-3 drops- Light-Medium Blonde: 2-4 drops- Medium-Dark Blonde: 3-5 drops- Light Brunette: 4-6 dropsOne thing to note is that these drops can temporarily stain your hands, so it's important to wash them immediately after use. However, this minor inconvenience is outweighed by the excellent results I've achieved with this product.

This is very small and can be used with any conditioner which is perfect for travelling. You can bring it anywhere and used it whenever. It is concentrated so just use a few drops. This will last me a long time. I love that it helped bring back the brightness of my hair color with consistent usage. Would reorder once done with the bottle.
