Serves me right for not going to the apple store and buying a real charging cable ..... after reading the good reviews on this cable i purchased it for my ipad air. It charges ridiculously slowly and if i use my ipad whilst plugged in it looses charge! This is NOT a genuine apple charger!! .... ive now done what i should of done in the first place and spent £10 more from apple, at least i know it will do its job

Seems to work well so far. I cant tell if genuine or not, but my phone doesn't usually work with fake leads, so I'm pleased.
