I loved it. The first half builds up a lot of tension and the entire second half is when it hits the fan is everything goes crazy. There’s also a lot of lore on the world which is always really cool.

There are so many differences in the translation of names between this version and the original content that it's obvious the translator they hired is completely unfamiliar with the franchise and didn't even bother reading the source material. It's honestly extremely off-putting for fans, and Yen Press should be embarrassed and should issue an entirely new print run and new ebook files to everyone who bought this. I downloaded the Kindle sample, and I was absolutely appalled at the quality. The DanMachi franchise has existed for over 11 years, and the Astrea Record story was published in English in the DanMachi Memoria Freese game over 3 years before the light novel adaptation was published. There's simply no excuse for this. Avoid.
