Was looking for a new small/medium size, premium rotomolded cooler, and rolled the dice on the Cubix brand due to the seemingly great value, including a soft cooler, and also because it's one of the only brands I'm aware of that offers a lifetime warranty. Glad I did!I am a total gear-head, to the point where seeking and buying the nicest version of things is basically a hobby. I've done dozens of hours of research on coolers, and have personally owned Yeti, Rtic, and Orca (all renowned brands). I can safely say the Cubix products are as good or better than all.The hard cooler, first of all is beautiful to look at. It is similar to the Orca line, which is much prettier than Yeti and other brands, and has all the same features: great latches, great drain spout, etc. Took on a weekend trip, and the ice retention is easily as good as any other brand. It also has a handle that goes over the top, making it easy for me to carry in one hand. Great in-between size, perfect for picnic or weekend trip. I can already tell it might become my most used cooler, as the size is manageable and plenty of space for anything short of a weeklong off-grid trip.I would have paid this price for just the hard cooler, but the inclusion of the soft cooler is icing on the cake. Great for day trips. I compare it directly with the popular RTIC soft cooler, which I own. It's a tiny bit smaller, but seems just as well insulated, with excellent seal on the zippers (which unlike the RTIC, zip and unzip without requiring Incredible Hulk strength).Shipped and arrived on time.Great purchase.

I was looking for a Yeti alternative, but I now wished that I would have sprung for the extra hundred bucks for one. This cooler is nice, but it doesn't seem to hold ice any better than my economy coolers. If you're spending that much on a cooler in the first place, might as well go all out! As for the positive aspects--I do like the latch system, and the latches have built-in bottle openers. I also really like the handle...it folds down out of the way when not in use, and it locks into saddles when in use. The mini soft cooler was a nice bonus, and I have actually used that more than the main cooler. It's handy and it dries out in no time flat after you empty it out.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a great set of coolers. I bought a 46 quart with wheels, but it's too big to fit in my trunk (it's fine in my wife's SUV), so I purchased this smaller one, and it comes with a small soft sided cooler as well. I live in Florida, so I've pre-chilled the 25 qt cooler with a couple of small icepacks so it would stay cold sitting my my hot car for hours before I did my shopping on the way home. Honestly, as cold as the interior was with just the small ice packs, I could have shopped first, and I don't think anything would have melted before I got home. The little cooler, although a big large for a lunchbag is soooo much better than what I used to use, that I prefer to use the 8 qt as a lunchbag. It's liner is so much stronger and better made than a traditional lunchbag that it works great to keep things cold. It's waterproof, so if anything leaks, it won't get all over your car or desk, and it's really easy to clean. Check the video out for my "waterproof" test. Yes, there is still a potential for a slight leak at the zipper, but it's minimal. I've had soup leak all over the carpet of my car when I had to hit the brakes hard, and my lunchbag fell upsidedown onto the passenger floorboard. Lot's of cleanup afterward. I really hope they make a smaller bag with dual compartments for hot/cold. I'd buy that in a heartbeat for a lunchbag. The 8 qt worked great to take some freezer items to work for a co-worker to take home, and they stayed frozen all day without any additional icepack. I'll definitely take the 25 qt to the beach with the family for a short day, or even the 8 qt if I head out by myself. The 25 qt (like it's 46 qt big brother) is extremely sturdy, and can be used as a seat or step stool without worry of it breaking.

I didn't realize how heave the cooler is. I cannot pick it up when filled. It also will only keep ice for one day. I do like the smaller travel cooler. It's great for keeping drinks cold on a day trip INSIDE your air conditioned car.

Finally a high quality, reasonably priced cooler set that meets my needs for big and small outings. The 25 quart molded cooler is perfect for picnics, cookouts, beach days, or camping. My pic shows how easily 8 individual beverages will fit; this ice chest can fit at least 4 or 5 times that many along with ice and any food you need to keep cold. The built-in bottle openers on the straps are a life saver (I always forget to bring a bottle opener), and the cushioned locking handle is comfortable for carrying. The cup holder fit bottles and cans easily, and the vented drain makes for quick and easy removal of any melted water.The soft side cooler bag is perfect to use as a premium lunch bag, and I can't wait to use it to keep my drinks cold on hot days at the ballpark. It fits about 8 or 10 individual drinks, plus ice. I love the fact that leak proof tight closure and zipper will keep from having ice cold water pour down my back when putting the strap over my head. Just like the larger cooler, the cushioned handle on the bag makes for comfortable carrying.I'm looking forward to using these year round for a long time!
