Great Kettle, Perfect Zize, Long Lasting
I have had this kettle for well over one year and have had no issues with rusting or pitting as others have claimed. I found the whistle to be loud. The kettle weight is on the lighter side allowing for speedy boiling. The handle on my kettle does not get too hot but it has been redesigned since my purchase.

Good quality and price
I love drinking hot tea and needed one of these. The price was right and it has held up for several months now very well

Best for Price...well worth it.
Probably one of the best priced kettles out there. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's a little noisy when heating up compared to prior kettles I've used... But it's probably because it's thinner and lighter than most... But I am very happy with it... I really like the button on the bottom of the handle that opens the spout... And you can simply press the button from the top to close it. So, it'll stay open if you want... It's pretty cool. I got the silver one because it was cheaper. I'm glad I did ...it looks nice on the stove. 😊👍

Stylish and reliable stovetop kettle with a clear whistle
This Mr. Coffee Flintshire kettle is a great addition to any kitchen. The 1.75-quart capacity is perfect for making multiple cups of tea or boiling water for cooking. The stainless steel construction feels durable, and the brushed satin finish looks sleek and modern on the stove. The whistling feature is loud and clear, so you never have to guess when the water is boiling. The handle stays cool enough to hold comfortably, and the spout pours cleanly without dripping. I also appreciate how quickly the water boils on my gas stove, which saves time in the morning. The only minor downside is that the lid can feel a little snug when trying to remove it quickly, so be careful if the kettle is hot. Overall, this is a durable, attractive, and functional stovetop kettle that works well for everyday use and looks great on display.

Got water without running the tap
It takes so long for hot water to reach the sink I got this little kettle to boil water while i am eating breakfast so I have hot water ready for dish cleanup instead of running the tap until the hot water arrives. Lots cheaper than a kitchen faucet water heater addition. Looks attractive, whistles, and not too large. Takes @ 6 minutes for a full kettle to mix with the tap cold water. The handle design works well for me.

FALSE descriptions
When I first used this kettle in Feb ‘26, I was disappointed that the whistle wasn’t as loud as my old Revere Ware kettle. Today I had the kettle on and was in another room in the house. I smelled something “cooking” and went into the kitchen to find that the kettle had boiled dry and melted the black plastic handle and whistle piece. See my photos. Had the whistle been louder, I would have heard it and turned the stove down ahead of time. 1) This article’s description says “Whistling teakettle alerts when water is boiling recommend you to move after Whistle has been blown.” You have to be next to the stove to hear the whistle, so I’d say that statement is false. 2) This article’s description says “Solid stainless steel constructed,” but a magnate only sticks to the bottom, so that statement is false. 3) The description also says that it has “Bakelite stay cool handles and trigger for safety.” Today, those black pieces melted, indicating that they are cheap plastic, NOT Bakelite, so that statement is false too. And, had the whistle been louder, I would have heard it and turned down the stove and avoided the melted parts and the toxic fumes of melting plastic filling the house. TeaKettlePic1 shows the melted plastic that held the handle and whistle on. TeaKettlePic2 shows the plastic melted over the spout. TeaKettlePic3 shows another angle of the melted plastic handle and whistle

No longevity
I thought this was a nice kettle for the price. Today I found that it is rusty inside. I am careful to not leave water in it after use. I do not recommend this. I have had it less than two years.

Works like you expect it to use it daily
Works great for making tea trying to cut back on pop three teabags fill it up when it whistles shut it off. I let it sit on the stove throughout the day. It’s cooled off. I drink it instead of all the pop.
