Adequate foil shaver, IPX5 waterproof, nice aesthetics
I have used an electric shaver my entire adult life. In that time I've tried just about every name brand shaver out there (Braun, Norelco, Panasonic, Remington), and everything from entry level to top of the line. I have also tested a variety of no-name foil shavers over time. The best of them are OK--as good as something like the Remington foil shaver I used as a kid--but can't compete with the better name-brand shavers. This one is no exception. The aesthetics are nice, and it feels nice and chunky in the hand. It has a nice, heavy-duty, protective cap for the foil that you can use when packing it for travel. It also provides good battery life. But, as a shaver, it's just adequate. It takes care of a single day's beard growth with a few passes. Given that this takes a few passes to get a clean shave, I can't imagine it dealing well with multi-day growth.Specifics of the foil shaver:** Rechargable cordless shaver with LCD charge level readout** 2 hours charge provides 120 minutes run time** One cleaning brush** USB charging cable (USB-C connection)** Foil protector cover** Soft-sided velvet-like travel pouch** Cheap, unweighted, plastic stand (does NOT charge in stand)The foil shaver is trivial to use: There's a slider on the side that turns it on and turns it off. That's it.The shaver has a nice, chunky shape and looks pretty. It's surprisingly hefty. This uses old school two-cutting blade technology (see photos). It gets the job done, but isn't even trying to compete with modern multiblade systems like you find in top end Panasonic/Braun shavers. That's fine, of course. You can still cut hair with just a couple of blades. But expect it to be priced accordingly when you are shopping. At the end of the day, I'd say that while I like the aesthetics and battery life, this shaver just is pretty average. Certainly, it doesn't do the job of my name brand shavers (Panasonic, Braun, Norelco), although with some effort it did manage to do a decent job on a single-day growth of beard.Pros:** Good looking, feels good in the hand. Hefty feel.** Good battery life** LCD readout of charge levelCons:** No travel lockout mode** Average entry-level shaving performance** Stand is cheap plastic, not weighted, and doesn't charge shaver** Expensive for the quality of shave

Impressive electric shave kit specifically meant for those that shave their head. Great!
Everything about this dark, moody electric razor (the "Dark Reaper") says that it was designed specifically for those of us that shave our heads. And it does a really good job, because of it.I shaved my head with this for the first time today. Generally I have used multi-blade wet shavers and shaving cream. I thought the shave was the closest that way, but clearly I was wrong.Picking it up you're immediately impressed with how solid feeling, and weighty this product is. It's heavy, much heavier than other electric razors I've owned. Those seemed to be going for light weight... not the Dark Reaper. The weight on this one is an advantage, unlike face shaving. Here the weight allows the razor to bear down on the scalp, shaving very close. The gold foil head, with it's stepped series also add to that closeness. I was surprised at just how good the shave was. As good, or better than the traditional razor.Of course, time will tell if it can continue to provide such a high quality "balding" shave. Things wear, and clog. Over time I would ditch my disposable razor for a new one. So it may be an unfair comparison, but we'll have to see.I love the look of the razor, being matte black with gold lettering and accents. It feels great in the hand. Cleans easily, and comes with a base, nice cleaning brush (not shown in pics, sorry), as well as it's USB-C charging cable and a base. Everything fits nicely into a drawstring-closure pouch, in a sort of velour material. This is an attractive kit, and would make an outstanding gift for someone you really care about. I'm totally impressed (and surprised) with the quality of the shave.

Lasted only 4 months!
My husband is 79, has a very light beard, so he doesn’t even shave every day. After only 4 months it quit working, it wont even turn on. Very disappointed.
