The smell is amazing!!
I use this in my bedroom on the carpet, the smell is amazing, the instructions are clear and straightforward! I'll buy again, easy to use and a good supply! It smells fresh and lasts a long time ! Value for money? Yes !!

Creates a nice scented room.
After a carpet shampoo, the room had a bit of a damp smell to it. Had windows to help dry out the room and later used Duzzit fresh linen. It created a nice smell and eliminated the damp smell.

Underfilled. Inaccurate coverage claims. Chemical odour.
When this arrived I looked inside the bottle and my first thoughts were "blimey, when they said 'contents may have settled in transit', they really meant it!" The contents weren't even up to the half way point. I gave it a good shake and no noticeable change. So I weighed it - and the whole thing weighed 506gm, giving me a clear indication that unless the bottle weighted just 6gm, I had been short changed.Anyway, I was keen to deal with a pet accident before house guests arrived, so reluctantly I went ahead and used it.On finishing off the bottle I again weighed it - 46gm. That suggests that the bottle was 40gm underfilled. Given that there is no seal on the lid, and the bottle came wrapped in sellophane, sealed only with a rubber band, I would suggest I got a returned bottle where the previous owner had sprinkled a small test area and realised it wasn't for them. Either way, I didn't get 500gm of powder.20 sq m is the claimed coverage area - not a chance. I just managed 10 sq m, even being very conservative with the amount being dispensed. With the holes in the lid being the size they are, there is no way you could achieve 20 sq m, even with a full 500gms.As for the scent - I pray that none of my linen ever smells this fresh! It's an overpowering chemical odour that isn't exactly unpleasant but is closer to what you'd smell inside an ICI manufacturing plant rather than in a launderette. I'd certainly not want my pets going anywhere near the treated area for a long while after application.And did it destroy the unwanted odour? I guess - but I would say it was more a case of it being masked by the powerful smell of the powder as opposed to eliminating it.As an aside, I paid £4.50 and I see that just 3 days later it has been reduced to £3.50. That's one of those things, I know, but infuriating nonetheless.All in all a very disappointing experience and as a result the product is not recommended at any price.

I really like this, I read some reviews about it smelling chemically, it does ever so slightly but not in a bad way actually. It's a strong clean smell and even day after my rooms smell nice and fresh. Don't expect it to last like a week though but for a day or two can defo smell it.

Overpowering chemical smell
I suppose this would be good if you wanted to occasionally cover up a very strong bad smell but I planned on using it to slightly freshen up a couple of rugs but the smell was so strong (and unpleasant to me although that’s a matter of personal taste) in spite of how little I sprinkled that it instantly gave me a bad headache I took ages to get rid of. Had to open all windows etc - will definitely not be using again!

Did what I needed
Needed this to freshen up a carpet that was peed on by a cat! Obviously cleaned it well first but the cleaning smell was overpowering so bought something to cover it. It did the trick so happy with that…I just can’t decide if I actually like the smell of this. Either way, better than the original shake n vac
