This brace has your back. Literally. The metal supports do fair job distributing stresses during lifting boxes or similar. I wouldn't use it as a substitute for a weight belt, but repeated motions like warehouse work are a good use case. In a previous life, I had something similar but it was not as wide (tall?) nor did it have the straps, but worked well, and this one does even better. The straps are definitely useful for taking a break from work and releasing the support.

I was mainly looking for a back brace without the straps but was happy to find out that the straps were easily removed. It’s just a matter of sliding the clips on and off.The brace itself is easily adjustable and the material seems to be very sturdy. The Velcro is abundant and when you fasten it around your waist it stays fastened.I have a bad back and this product definitely gives me the support I need when moving heavy items. Definitely satisfied with it.

My model had the shoulder straps, which they no longer show in the pics.The model I received fits well but the straps are offset more to the sides which I found odd.If I were wider that might be ok but I feel more comfortable having the straps more toward the center.Also the straps were installed wrong with the adjustable clips on the backside where you could never reach them while it’s on.It does offer mild support to help protect muscles, just not as comfortable as I would like.

This back brace is very well made, material and Velcro are strong. Very easy to put on and comfortable to wear. It does make a big difference using this back brace while working or exercising. I feel the support on my lower back and definitely helps with my back pain. I recommend this product.

My husband is tall, so we removed the straps to keep the brace from riding up. I did get a size too big but he's using it anyway and is already feeling loads better. I'll have to get a smaller one eventually but at least now he isn't coming home from work nearly in tears from the pain.
