I bought this mount to use Apple's continuity camera for my business calls. The mount is a solid fit and does not come undone easily, the bracket holds in place well and feels sturdy. I was expecting the ring mount to be made of metal; however, it is plastic. That being said, it feels very good and works well.Another positive aspect I found was that the mount also acts like a stand when not on the laptop using the handle. It works horizontally as well as vertically albeit at a very shallow angle.If you are considering a mount for your phone that is meant to be used with your Mac for Continuity Camera but do not want to flush 3-4K down the drain. This is a great alternative. As a stand-alone mount, however, I feel like you could get something slimmer and more versatile.

The build is solid and sturdy.You can use it for a continuity camera, and you can also use it as a finger grip if you don't like to have a case on your iPhone but still want some kind of slip protection.

Cannot take the weight of phone. It drops iphone 14 plus.

The groove/stand is so narrow that it doesn't fit the screen on my Dell latitude or my Acer monitor. So its essentially useless for me.

You must go for this if you love  ecosystem! Don’t think twice just go for it.. and yes this Do come with metal ring just in case if your phone don’t support MagSafe you can attach that and that’s amazing!!!!
