Excellent eyepieces, and a bargain in the kit with the case.
I purchased these from Amazon.de for about £425. Each EP is boxed as an individual retail item which is fantastic; if like me you already own one or more and will sell-on the equivalent new EP. Considering each EP retails at between £80 & £90 and you get the case which is really handy for storage (which normally retails around £50) this is a great deal. I already had the 21mm EP and was really impressed with the image quality on a celestron 9.25 SCT. With the poor weather I've only been able to try them once so far, but have been really pleased with the These clearly aren't TV Delos league, but they are a fraction of the price. I doubt I'll use them all; specifically the 5mm as that's probably a bit over the top for UK viewing conditions. The 13 mm and 10 mm EPs gave a very clear image; and I'm looking forward to trying the others. In the picture of the case I've attached I have the optional tuning rings which you won't need with this set (there's no need for such levels of adjustment).

I wrongly ordered an 8mm by mistake-but i am very glad i did
A young friend of mine let me use his 5mm and 10mm Baader units.I thought they were first class. I wrongly ordered an 8mm by mistake-but i am very glad i did. These lenses are such a clever design--i call them the LEGO OF EYE-PIECES. A couple of morons on some sight i came across had the usual moan-even down to the packaging. I found nothing to moan at,the lens at 8mm has a bright-sharp focus on my big optical machine. I can*t wait for Jupiter to come around later on in the year. It has the largest eye-lens i have seen on such a power lens. The apparent field does seem wider than 68 degrees. LEGO take the achromat out of the lens end and magically,it becomes about 22mm focus. The Andromeda M31 spread right across the field-and did seem brighter than all the other lenses i have. It was a sight to see--very diffuse and ghostly. To sum up--great service from Germany via Amazon--great price-delivery time--quality--i am very happy with the 8mm,and when finances allow-i will probably try to end up with the whole set. That would be good. Hope this helps any thinking about a future buy cheers for now---Garreth

This is a very high quality eye-piece. It weighs ...
This is a very high quality eye-piece. It weighs a lot so it will mess with the balance of your scope a little but the optical quality is stunning. Not really for beginners.

Brilliant Eyepiece
This is a very well made product and feels much more solid than the eyepieces typically supplied when purchasing a telescope. The wide angle view afforded by this eyepiece is great and clarity is very good across the field of view. Arrived promptly from the supplier.

Superb optics, but some small problems
I have recently taken up astronomy. Until I bought this eyepiece I have been using Skywatcher plossl eyepieces on my Skywatcher ST102 telescope. (102mm x 500mm i.e. f5) I have been getting good, but not outstanding results. This eyepiece was my Christmas present to myself. I have only had sufficient clear sky to get a good view of Jupiter for about 10 minutes, but it was all I needed to be able to see just how good the optics are. The Galilean moons were not just visible, they were exceptionally bright. The atmospheric bands on Jupiter were the clearest I have ever seen them. I am anxious to look at Saturn & Mars next. It is possible to alter the effective focal length of the eyepiece by either using special spacing rings (FTR fine tuning rings) or by removing one of the groups of lenses. The later adjustment, in particular, should only be done in a clean environment i.e. not while you are sitting at your 'scope in the middle of a field! I have not tried either method, and as the view I am getting from the eyepiece is excellent for planet watching, I am unlikely to. It is also possible to use this eyepiece in scopes that accept 2" diameter eyepieces, but as all my 'scopes accept only 1.25" diameter I can't comment on it's performance in this role. If I were only reviewing the optics, this would be a 5 star review. There are, however a few irritations. One problem I did not anticipate, is that because the eyepiece is so large and heavy it seems to make any vibrations induced by focusing take much longer to settle down. I think I would be better off with a heavier mount. That complaint, however, is not the fault of the design, but of my system. My other (fairly small) complaints are the fault of the manufacturer * The instruction leaflet is in German only * The rubber eyecups are a serious pain to use. They are difficult to put on and to keep on. Without them the protective covers do not fit. In conclusion I would highly recommend this eyepiece to anyone who is looking for a high class eyepiece for planet watching.

fantastic.
excellent product. high optics - blown away with views of the planets like juipter which now i could see its gas clouds and other stars. views of the moon excellent, very crisp and without any fuzz. craters are all clearly seen. eyepiece is a little tricky to set up and move via telescope allignment. eyepiece also needs good conditions but so long as clear skies eyepiece is still flawless every penny spent on this was worth it.
