I was sceptical about the claims I read in the reviews for this TV Soundbar. However, as the Soundbar was exactly the right size to fit under my 65 inch TV (the TV stand is angled outwards so not much space) I decided to try it as the price was so reasonable. The unit was packaged extremely well with foam packing to ensure no damage in transit. The Soundbar is slimline and very unobtrusive when placed under the TV. The subwoofer is small enough to place either behind or to the side of the TV stand. Mine is at the side. Installation took only a few minutes as the connections are easy to understand. The unit is supplied with an HDMI cable, the power supply, a 3.5mm audio cable, a TOS link (optical) cable, a right angled HDMI adapter (in case your TV is against a wall), a wall bracket and a small remote control. The inclusion of the adapter, audio and TOS link cables shows the manufacturer has really thought about making sure the unit can be used immediately without resorting to ordering extra cables. This is excellent service which other manufacturers should take note of. The best audio is obtained by using the HDMI ARC or eARC socket (audio return circuit) on the TV to the back of the sound bar. The subwoofer has a generous length of cable which also plugs into the back of the sound bar. The unit powers up from the remote control which also has buttons to select the audio source (eARC/ARC, optical, Bluetooth, 3.5mm AUX or USB. Sound performance is absolutely fabulous for the price. The Soundbar audio is very good, much better than the TV's speakers. Using the Movie sound preset gives very clear upper and midrange from the Soundbar backed up by reasonable bass from the subwoofer. The volume range provided by the Soundbar is exceptional for such a small unit. Bass control is a little limited with just 3 levels and could be better if the steps were spread over 5-6 steps instead. Note that a full 5.1 home cinema system will sound better than this unit, however they cost substantially more and also involve a much greater investment in routing cables and finding suitable places for all of the amp, speakers and subwoofer. I also tried the Music mode via Bluetooth from a portable audio player. Music sounds very good (a HiFi would be better, but has the same pitfalls as a home cinema system) and can also go very loud. Bluetooth set up is extremely fast. Overall this Soundbar/Subwoofer set is exceptional value for money and would be a great improvement for anyone who wants a little more sound quality from their TV. Highly recommended.

I've been using sound bars for a few years now. But I've never really forked out much for them, as I can't justify it because I don't watch films where I know they make a big difference. I also need one with a small footprint. So when I bought another new television with the most awful, awful built-in sound, I decided it was time to buy one with a subwoofer. After much research I went for this one. Fabulous quick delivery and very easy with the one-time code etc. It was a five minute job to set the speaker and subwoofer up. What took me longest was getting the cables through the back of my cabinet! Then a few minutes to play with the sound settings on my TV. Wow! The sound! It's loud and with a load of bass (I love bass so it's turned up to max). Gorgeous deep sound. I'm watching the cricket and you can hear the thud of the ball coming off the bat. Don't know if it is Dolby Atmos as I can't say I've ever heard to compare. With a £20 voucher, this was silly money for the quality and compact size. Having all the leads you could need is a good thing too. Recommended if you want cheap and very cheerful for decent sound. EDIT A couple of weeks later, the sound cut out for a split second every now and again. A quick email to the Ultimea team and bit of software updating and fiddling over a few days did not sort it. New unit sent out when I refused to buy a new HDMI cable - I'd expect the one sent to work. New unit sounded different from the off - suspect the subwoofer and or connection were duff. Very easy to sort out with very quick comms/replies in a professional and friendly manner.

So I ordered this soundbar back in March after reading so many reviews on Amazon trying to find a suitable setup for our garden room. This seemed to have favourable reviews, Dolby Atmos, well priced, and a nice slim form factor so gave it a shot. Upon setup i was immediately impressed at the sound this little thing puts out, the bass sounded amazing and punchy and coupled with the soundbar it sounded really good. The sound felt 'whole' as if there weren't two separate units and overall I was happy. The speech was a little muffled on movies however after updating the firmware directly from the ultimea website this seemed to improve things and I was 100% happy. However after a few months the whole unit stopped working, no power at all. I tried troubleshooting per Ultimeas website however this failed. I reached out to them and they quickly offered me a return and replacement. I waited a few days for the return label however nothing materialised. Getting back in touch I asked if they couldn't send me a replacement while I wait for the return label. They then informed me that they had no stock of the Nova S50 and could only offer me a refund on return. Why wasn't i informed of this when i first emailed instead of leaving me waiting? Anyway I assumed I might be offered an alternative higher spec model given the inconvenience however this was not the case, I was told If i wanted anything else I would have to pay the difference. Given past experience with Amazon sellers I know they normally go above and beyond to make things right so again was left a bit annoyed by this considering this whole issue shouldn't be happening. These get dished out for free as per vine programmes so I don't think an upgrade to a better spec model would have been that much of an issue. Anyway i returned it and went out and bought a Hisense HS2100 from Argos after it scored well on various review sites. I wrongly assumed this more powerful, well known brand would blow the Ultimea out the water. I got it home, set up and gave it a listen. Immediately I was very disappointed with what I was hearing. It sounded harsh, the bar and the sub didn't feel in sync and all i wanted to do was turn it down. I swiftly packaged this up and returned it back to Argos. I then popped back on Amazon and bought the Nova S50 again (which apparently was not in stock according to ultimea). I'm hoping when it turns up tomorrow it will be just as enjoyable to listen to as the first one was and hopefully there wont be any problems. But if there are I can always rely on amazon to sort it. In summary pros - This is a very good sounding product especially with the most recent firmware updates - very small in size but big in sound - very well built and looks the part - dolby atmos - well priced cons - my first one broke and was completely unusable - customer service very friendly and prompt at replying however I didn't feel I received a helpful or satisfactory solution. - doubts on longevity. I'll give it four stars at the moment hoping the unit I had was a one off fault. Ill update if anything else changes

After reading several reviews this soundbar seemed to fit the bill at a bargain price so I took a chance. It came with an optical cable,3.5mm jack,HDMI cable,wall mounts etc and decent handbook/quick set up guide. It is very well packed and linked to both my LG television on earc setting instantly and also bluetooth on my phone to play Spotify etc. The sound was very good and the led on the front of the unit easy to read. I was impressed and spent about half an hour getting used to the functions. Unfortunately my unit went to a hugely distorted maximum volume with no treble and could not be controlled without muting the sound. I tried it several times and then as a stand alone unplugged from the TV using bluetooth with the same results. In desperation I gave it a last go with my other television but with no joy. I had to package the soundbar up and return it the next day. I hope this was a one off faulty unit as I really liked what I saw and heard. Update, customer service agent was amazing and a replacement unit was sent out out very quickly with no hassle . I can therefore fully recommend both the seller and the equipment.

I was on the market for a nice soundbar for my pc, something to have some good immersion sound for games(surround) and also to be small enough to fit under my monitor. I tried a few other brands before getting to this one, brands that were in the same price category, like Creative Stage 2.1 soundbar and OXS Thunder lite and they failed miserably! The Creative soundbar lasted half a day and the next day refused to turn back on; also the sound was stereo and nothing else, nothing special, not even close to surround sound. Also after 15 min of no sound the system went to sleep which was super annoying for me. The OXS Thunder lite again the same story in terms of going to sleep after 15 min and the sound was nothing special, no immersion. Now, with the Ultimea one was a totally different story! The size of the soundbar is tiny, literally but the sound quality is something extraordinary! I love it! Surround effect which you can feel and the sound overall is amazing. I can't recommend this product enough! By the way, unfortunately I have no affiliation and I haven't been paid to say all this, i just think is got an amazing sound! Also the price is a bargain for what you get. If you are in the market for a surround soundbar for your pc or a smaller tv you can't go wrong with this one!

I have had nothing but problems connecting the speaker since I bought it. The website instructions to resolve the driver problems don't work and are vague at best. I have to spend hours trying to get the speakers to work but if I turn off my computer I have to do it all again . I am now going to have to buy a new sound bar from a more reliable manufacturer and this one is going in the bin. Absolute rubbish, avoid at all costs.

This review of the Ultimea Nova S50 will concentrate on what it can do, and more importantly what it cannot do. The Ultimea Nova S50 comes with a small discrete front centre unit, which is attached to a separate sub-woofer, and will give any TV a boost in producing a nice deep bass with very clear sound even at low volumes, but as I said in the headline it is a fantastic product only if your TV can handle it; because this Ultimea Nova S50 has only a single HDMI in/out and it is HDMI/eARC! That means it is the TV that will process the digital codecs you input from other sources such as a Sky box, Blu-ray, or 4k player. With no digital pass-thru the signal goes from each HDMI input through the TV into the Ultimea Nova S50, so if your TV is only ARC enabled the Ultimea Nova S50 will not be able to process the full DTS/ATMOS codec, only Dolby Surround from any digital source that comes out the TV. I have suggested Ultimea upgrade the Nova S50 back panel to have an additional HDMI input for a digital source, and then pass this through to the eARC in/out to the TV, this would then enable true DTS/ATMOS processing to be achieved directly by the Nova S50 before going through the TV, and they have asked me to include these comments in my review. As it is this Ultimea Nova S50 is a fantastic entry level consumer product for upgrading your existing TV sound source, on delivery I found some connectors, and the remote control missing, but after having a chat with Ultimea CS these missing essentials were very quickly dispatched within a few days. When I noticed some sound issues, Ultimea CS were again very quick to resolve these issues, and send me customized software downloads to update the unit. I cannot find any fault in how good the Ultimea Nova S50 sounds, its overall build quality far exceeds its current price point, and the speed at which Ultimea CS deal with any customer service related problems is very impressive, but if you are looking to buy this Ultimea Nova S50 to exploit the best audio quality from your DTS/ATMOS digital sources then this will only work if your TV is HDMI/eARC compliant, otherwise you will have to accept it will only ever produce an excellent quality Dolby Surround soundtrack from any of your currently existing HDMI/ARC digital sources.

The packaging had clearly been opened and resealed, contacted seller who were very helpful and offered a 15% discount which may have bee acceptable but the speaker had some connection issues. It would not work with my hdmi lead (quite old but working, maybe too old) worked when I used supplied hdmi but not with supplied 90 degree hdmi adaptor. I also have an older TV with arc not earc hdmi but everytime I changed source I would have to go to speaker settings to get any sound. When it did work the sound was very good for a small unit, very clear voices good bass, I would have kept it if it never had connection issues but had to return, maybe try another one or model.

Det är en billig produkt, men då dom levererar en produkt i Sverige till en Svensk kund med endast en brittiskt 230v adapter. Att anlita en elektriker som monterar in ett brittiskt uttag gör det billigare att köpa en tio gånger dyrare produkt.. så den går i retur ASAP ... rekommenderar jag ULTIMEA Barre De Son TV Avec Subwoofer, PC-ljud? NEJ!!

Se non hai soldi da perdere ma vuoi comunque ambire ad una buona qualità di suono, questa soundbar non delude affatto! Forma compatta, ma allo stesso tempo suono incredibilmente immersivo. Da provare con contenuti Dolby Atmos per credere. Inoltre - cosa fondamentale - supporto clienti molto reattivo, pronti a fornire supporto personalizzato per qualunque problema. Altamente consigliato!

Di recente ho recensito un'altra soundbar ULTIMEA Apollo S40 che aveva più versatilità nell'uso e nell'installazione, gli altoparlanti si potevano accoppiare o disaccoppiare, usandoli come una soundbar oppure come home theater posizionandoli ai lati del tv ma non aveva il subwoofer. Per questa si è costretti a posizionarla sotto o sopra al tv, quindi la scelta và fatta anche in base alle proprie esigenze di installazione. Design moderno e di colore nero per qualsiasi tipo di arredamento. Abbinata a un TV con riproduttori audio non di qualità ne migliora notevolmente l'ascolto sia di musica che di parlato con possibilità di impostazioni a piacere dell'audio secondo quello che si vuole ascoltare e vedere (movies, music, news/night). La soundbar contiene al suo interno n.2 altoparlanti di nuova concezione con alta sensibilità, mentre il subwoofer ha un altoparlante con membrana con materiale che ne esalta la nitidezza e purezza. Inoltre la soundbar ha la possibilità di riprodurre audio tramite la ricezione bluetooth da altri dispositivi bluetooth trasmettitori Il pairing è automatico quando si sceglie bluetooth, occorre solo autorizzare l'accoppiamento scegliendo ULTIMIA Nova S50. L'accoppiamento risulta riuscito quando si sente la voce e i led finiscono di lampeggiare. Veniamo adesso ai risultati ottenuti dalle prove fatte. Per prima cosa direi che è molto semplice da usare e predisporre al funzionamento secondo esigenza. L'ho provata i tutti i modi e con tutte le sorgenti di ingresso con risultati soddisfacenti. La riproduzione audio è sufficientemente fedele e accettabile se non si alza il volume a livelli troppo alti, equalizzatore e bassi sono molto personali e dipendono da ciascuno di noi che accentuano più o meno alcune frequenze al posto di altre. Distorsioni assenti e acustica potente, per sostituire l'audio interno della TV va più che bene. Concludendo sono abbastanza soddisfatto anche per un prezzo mediamente basso rispetto alla qualità del prodotto. La consiglio in un ambiente famigliare con stanze di medie dimensioni da 15 a 30 m². Soundbar e Subwoofer si presentano bene, risultano realizzati con buoni materiali ed è curato l'assemblaggio. Abbastanza completo il telecomando in dotazione. Nella confezione oltre alla soundbar ed al subwoofer cablato troviamo diversi cavi per la connessione (jack, hdmi ed ottici), l'alimentatore, il telecomando, un kit per il fissaggio a muro ed il manuale d'uso. Semplice e veloce l'installazione. La soundbar è dotata di un piccolo display nella parte frontale utile a visualizzare le impostazioni selezionate ed un pannello comandi laterale da dove è possibile accendere o spegnere il dispositivo, regolare il volume e selezionare la sorgente. Nella parte posteriore invece troviamo le porte di connessione: AC, Optical, USB, Jack e HDMI (ARC). E' presente anche l'output per il subwoofer. Compatte le dimensioni della soundbar, un pò meno quelle del subwoofer. Richiede una televisione compatibile ARC se la si desidera connetterla via hdmi altrimenti permette la connessione ottica oppure dal canale cuffie. E' anche dotata di bluetooth per poter connettere device mobili ed utilizzarla come semplice cassa bt. Il dispositivo se connesso tramite ARC si avvia e si spegne perfettamente con la TV usando il telecomando di quest'ultima anche per la gestione del volume, resta comunque necessario il telecomando proprietario per le operazioni avanzate. Di certo non è un prodotto di fascia alta ma migliora abbastanza le prestazioni rispetto all'audio integrato della TV, grazie anche alla presenza del corposo subwoofer. Musica ed effetti speciali ne guadagnano discretamente, un pò meno gli alti e i dialoghi che a volte risultano alquanto ovattati e poco nitidi. Le regolazioni presenti garantiscono una buona impostazione del dispositivo per tutti gli utilizzi ma non va dimenticato il target a cui mira questo prodotto e l'importo che è stato pagato. Ad alto volume tende un pò a distorcere. Bene per le 3 modalità di impostazione presettate: Movie, Game e Music. Li ho posizionati in stanza da letto connessi ad una tv Samsung. La stanza non è molto dispersiva per dimensioni ed in ambienti medio/piccoli penso offra le performance migliori. L'ho testata con connessione hdmi ARC. La resa audio non è eccelsa ma, come detto, migliora di molto l'audio integrato della TV, probabilmente per via dell'abitudine fatta con un'altra soundbar in mio possesso di livello ben superiore non riesco ad apprezzarne a pieno le performance che paragonate all'altro dispositivo appaiono appena sufficienti, ma il vantaggio in termini di resa rispetto all'audio integrato è indiscutibile. Molto presenti e corposi i bassi. Un prodotto ben realizzato e funzionale che sento di consigliare se non si vuole spendere cifre maggiori per andare su prodotti di fascia superiori. Reputo il rapporto qualità/prezzo volendo corretto. Per me è si!

E' il secondo modello di soundbar con subwoofer prodotto da Ultimea che ho modo di provare e come ho già scritto in passato, in occasione di recensioni si apparati simili, in fatto di soundbar sono abbastanza viziato, a dispetto della data di produzione quella che utilizzo con maggior piacere è una Bose Soundbar 300 del 2017, ho però nella stanza dei ragazzi una Bose Soundbar 500 ed in un altro vano una Yamaha MusicCast Bar 400, però ero abbastanza curioso di provare questa nuova versione della soundbar economica Ultimea 2.1 S50 dopo che la S40 era stata una piacevole scoperta. Ho deciso, come avevo fatto con la S40, di provarla installandola sotto una valida, seppur datata, TV Sharp HD, che però non gode di una acustica decorosa, diciamola tutta, ha degli speaker con una dinamica piatta e bassi inesistenti, e so che questo è un problema comune anche in prodotti più recenti, per cui una soundbar diventa quasi fondamentale se si vuole vedere un film in modo soddisfacente o magari ascoltare un videoconcerto senza avere la sensazione di amplificarlo con una radio a transistor. La Ultimea 2.1 S50 è una soundbar decorosa, adesso aggiornata in maniera importante con la compatibilità al Dolby Atmos, ha dimensioni contenute, identiche alla S40, ovvero circa 40cm L x 8 cm P, 4 cm H, ma contestualmente dotata di un subwoofer passivo, cioè non alimentato, di buone dimensioni (circa 11.5 cm L x 27cm P x 27 cm H) che riesce ad arricchire il flusso sonoro in modo fondamentale (senza è a mio parere inascoltabile) inutile nascondere che il suo punto di eccellenza è il buon prezzo che unito ad una acustica più che sufficiente trasforma l'articolo in una soluzione economica per risolvere problematiche simili a quella che vi ho illustrato sopra, inoltre con la nuova compatibilità Dolby Atmos adesso riesce a restituire a breve distanza una spazialità del suono evidente, ideale per usi in visione cinematografica, ma anche durante il gaming con giochi compatibili con tale protocollo. E' dotata di ingresso HDMI Arc ovvero potrete veicolare l'audio in essa anche grazie ad un cavo HDMI (il cavo è in dotazione) se la vostra TV ha il protocollo ARC (Audio Return Channel) attivabile, indubbiamente è una ottima soluzione per veicolare l'audio digitale e in certi casi anche per ridurre i cavi in utilizzo, ne ho provato la resa con un diverso TV poiché lo Sharp da me usato non ha tale uscita attivabile, ma devo dire che dal punto di vista della elaborazione digitale, ho trovato più fedele la connessione ottica (il cavo è in dotazione) o la SPDIF coassiale. La Ultimea S50 è anche dotata di ingresso analogico tramite jack 3,5 stereo (il cavo è in dotazione) e di una porta USB in grado di leggere classiche chiavette, ma come era già nella S40 senza la gestione delle cartelle, i brani potrete quindi scorrerli con il telecomando, accessorio che arriva senza batterie ma che è reattivo e permette oltre che scegliere la fonte di ingresso anche la eventuale equalizzazione tra un panel di tre preset, ovvero Musica, Cinema, e Game, inoltre ha anche una specie di funzione loud che incrementa i bassi, denominata BassMX e che, a mio parere, deve essere sempre attiva per avere un suono bilanciato, ma i comandi principali sono anche accessibili da un piccolo pannello posto sul lato destro della soundbar. Le ultime note le lascio al collegamento Bluetooth 5.0 con cui potrete fare pairing con cellulari o tablet, ma anche pc o tv dotate di tale protocollo wireless, nel suo utilizzo l'acustica è buona ed il lag accettabile. Per completare la descrizione degli accessori non voglio dimenticare la presenza delle staffe per appenderla a muro, dotazione non così frequente in questa tipologia di device, spesso assenti anche nei modelli più costosi. E' alimentata tramite un piccolo trasformatore che le eroga 24V, nelle prove che ho fatto la Ultimea 2.1 S50, come ho detto sopra ha dato il meglio di se nell'ascolto televisivo, e finalmente nell'uso cinematografico con colonne sonore progettate per il Dolby Atmos ha ovviato al problema della S40 che tendeva un minimo a coprire le voci, ma è interessante anche come sistema di amplificazione per consolle, ovviamente non ha la dinamica delle soundbar blasonate che ho citato all'inizio della recensione, ma ha un prezzo decisamente popolare e che personalmente me la fa consigliare a tutti coloro che non sono alla ricerca di un apparato per alta fedeltà, ma vogliono regalare con poca spesa una buona acustica a tutti quei televisori, anche recentissimi, che affiancano a pannelli di altissimo livello driver audio poco coinvolgenti, e soprattutto la S50 con una differenza economica ridotta rispetto alla S40 ci garantisce una buona compatibilità con l'audio multidimensionale Atmos.
