An excellent mouse with a long battery life, plenty of customisation. ABOVE ALL COMFORTABLE!
Corsair SCIMITAR ELITE RGB WIRELESS MMO Gaming Mouse (what a mouthful - talk about a long name) -It feels well built and nice in the hand -lots of buttons and customisation via the app -so far the mouse wheel feels smooth -battery life (via inbuilt battery) is miles ahead of my old RAT 9 wireless mouse -flexibility of bluetooth or wireless receiver (the usb dongle is neatly hidden in the bottom of the mouse - nice touch) -ergonomics are pretty good and i love that the buttons have different textures to tell them apart without looking. The side buttons can also be slid closer and further from your thumb and locked in place. -usable for me as an adult with small baby hands Negatives - I miss my pinky and thumb rests from the RAT 9. The corsair has an indented place for the pinky but its not quite as comfortable though Im glad its there. Not something you find on all gaming mice. -The iCue software took 3 attempts to install for me. Could have been my AV detecting registry entries being made. -the inbuilt battery is a double edged sword - much larger capacity and charge at the cost of some effort to replace later down the line. Ive made my peace with this but worth thinking about.

Great MM) mouse - very well built, adjustable for different hand sizes, and really good software.
I purchased this MMO mouse to replace my unreliable Razer 'Naga'. This unit us lighter, has a noticeably better battery, contains a storage space for the RF dongle (very useful for long term use), has FAR better software than the Razer equivalent and is compatible with the really nice 'iCue' colour co-ordination for peripherals software. The RF mode has great response time for games, switching between it and the energy-saving bluetooth mode is instant. There's multiple DPI settings you can flick through with one button. Highly recommended . Assuming this lasts better than the Razer Naga did, it represents pretty great value - even at the relatively steep £80 GBP price point.

Some teething issues, but great once sorted.
I've been using the wired version of this mouse for about 9 years now and I use it exclusively to play FFXIV. If you've never used a 12 button mouse for an MMO before it's an absolute game changer. After purchasing a wireless logitech mouse for other games, and starting to hate the feeling of a wire being attached to a mouse for FFXIV, I took the plunge and upgraded to the wireless version. Firstly the battery life for this thing is incredible, I played for a good 12+ hours a day when Dawntrail released and it lasted for about 2 weeks before I noticed the USB to charge it wasn't connected to a port that was supplying power. So a good 150 hours before it needed some juice. You won't have to worry about plugging it in every night to charge. The reason I took away a star is because the ICUE software is terrible, and the software and FFXIV seemingly hate each other. This was causing lag/delay when using the side buttons and was affecting my performance in end game content. I found the way to fix it was to save your keybinds to the device memory and then make sure ICUE is closed before playing. Only open it if you want to change any binds but other than that, just pretend it doesn't exist. Overall, a recommend for keen MMO players, just make sure the ICUE software is closed after saving your binds to the device.

Well constructed but useless software renders the mouse useless
The mouse is light, and glides well. Has many buttons - but I cannot assign anything to them due to the useless nature of iCue which continues to be broken in the later versions. Having tried many methods (save re-installing my OS!) it now remains as a light paperweight. I know a lot of people have had success with this mouse, but for me it is a fairly light paperweight. Unfortunately trying to get this to work means I missed the returns window. Ended up getting the Redragon 811 wireless and although not as smooth (getting teflon glides) assigning the buttons worked first time (and have dedicated forward/back buttons was nice to have back!).

Same downfalls as its wired predecessor
I've been a loyal user of this mouse's wired counterpart for over four years, but I've faced recurring issues with the middle mouse button failing after just over a year of use. In that period, I had to replace the mouse three times. With no other options (other than Razer), I reluctantly switched to the GPRO Wireless in 2021, which has been MUCH more reliable. When this new model was released, I was optimistic that the middle mouse button issues, widely noted in reviews, would be addressed. Unfortunately, after only two weeks, I've noticed a significant decline in the button's responsiveness and "tactileness". It felt as if the button could fail at any moment. While I genuinely enjoy using this mouse for my daily gaming and work tasks, the build quality, especially the durability of the middle mouse button, needs significant improvement. At its current price point of £100-£120, the quality does not meet expectations. I believe that using more durable materials for the button or redesigning its mechanism could solve this issue. As a customer who appreciates the mouse's design and functionality, I would gladly return to using it as my primary mouse if these improvements are made. Corsair, your products have great potential, and I hope to see these concerns addressed in future iterations.

A lovely upgrade from my old mouse!
I used a regular mouse for years and it was ok, I looked at different upgrades over the time and have to say I am so happy with this mouse. It may cost alot but in my eyes it is worth every penny. At first it was weird and took some time to get used to but I don't regret it at all. Brilliant mouse and fully recommend :)

An amazing mouse for Gaming. Adjustable buttons on the side is a clear winner for anyone's hand. One small drawback is the iCUE app needed to control everything Corsair. Really isn't beginner friendly.
