First one I ordered was too big. Was afraid this one would be too small. But turns out - it was just right for my 50lb Pittie.

Unlike chain-type collars, this one is soft and easily released, but is very effective. My mother-in-law adopted a little half-Dachshund terror about 5 years ago and he has been pushing her around out on their walks ever since. Recently (she's now 83), he has begun to pull her right off her feet when aggressively lunging at other dogs, people, the wind, whatever. A neighbor was walking their little Jack Russell who has very similar "leash issues" and recommended this collar for it's ease of controlling such behavior. Boy, what a difference it's made for her! No more pulling, he doesn't even do his crazy barking at whatever goes by anymore. And, BTW, she rarely has to actually tug on the collar to control him. He's smart and learned fast that it wasn't worth the discomfort.

Good for puppy training

Just what I wanted. Good quality and easy to use .I highly recommend this product. The people complaining about the rings being too small just don't have the technique for getting it started. Perhaps you could do it for them. I had no problem and like smaller rings. The trick is to start putting the collar through the ring above the hard sewn part then work it through. It took me all of 4 seconds to thread each one. An old sailors trick.

It helps a lot with my dog when she pulls. Small correction. Lost it somewhere and ordering again I liked it that much. My dog is 50 pound medium 2 year old. Thanks.

You can’t see it on my longhair guy, but it’s perfect to hold his name tag!

Way smaller than I thought and won’t fit my dog’s big head (Malamute). Seems okay quality though.

I bought a couple of these to use as goat show collars. They worked just fine for that, though the smallest size was a tad bit big for my Nigerian Dwarf Junior does..the should fit just fine when the girls are full grown though. The judge tied them so they wouldn't slide while a couple of young girls used my doelings for showmanship and that solved the problem completely. Much more affordable than actual show collars though I've been told that some ADGA shows require chain collars, so look into that before you buy them for that purpose.
