I don't dole out 5 star reviews but this is worth one.
Easily the best trimmer I've ever bought. I wish it was the first one but I've been through at least 12 in my life. It's pretty clean the comb is brittle but the other attachments are solid like that. It comes with three levels of precision for the trimming head value for money. This is an easy start beginning and end for facial grooming. I have used it on my hair once just to see if it could give me a haircut and it worked pretty well.

So Surprisingly Good It Makes You Worry for the Future of Hair Stylists and Barbers
As my random survey of whether or not to use a bootleg barber in the era of Covid showed a large majority sticking to the rules [this is not allowed yet from where I write] I did the socially responsible thing and plunged into the world of self-barbering if that is a term, preceded by copious research (which like looking for a good frying pan is a bit circular - many of the reviews keep leading to sales links whereby the reviewer probably gets a cut for every click through (so much for objectivity)). At any rate the Hatteker came up in the top ten in the UK in many surveys - I was hesitant as these have 'ceramic' blades where others boast 'super space age self sharpening steel (etc etc)'. And ceramic just doesn't sound like a...scissors does it ? BUT these were in stock and rated highly by the aforesaid articles (which tells you something at least). The box arrived wrapped in plastic MADE IN CHINA. Uh-oh I thought. That's where the anxiety stopped and dear reader, this product turned out to be a home run. I tried it out that night after studying more than a few Youtube videos on how to clipper your own hair (spoiler : shave UP simply put) and this worked like a wiz. I had a pretty shaggy head after 8 weeks without a cut but I was done in 20 minutes exactly as I wanted it - perfect cut. Kudos from my wife who was alarmed I was even trying this and other friends who could not believe how it came out when they asked to see photos. Here's the high points : at least 8 attachments for different lengths PLUS a central band which you can further grade the length of the cut from .5 to 2.5 mm in length PLUS two additional switch out razor heads for beard AND trimming back of the neck, side burns and eyebrows PLUS a extra lithion separately chargeable battery PLUS a very solid hold in the hand device whose power is more than enough for most (male) heads of hair PLUS all washable in water and ALL the head snap off and on extremely easily making it a cinch to clean and keep in good order. Only thing missing is a storage pouch - I dug a medium grade mid size travel pouch out of the closet and you can separate the shaver heads, other attachments and other gimracks in separate zip to seal bags you can get in any grocery store and put them in such a bag and you're good to store. The instruction sheet is useless except how to charge the battery [there is no charging stand by the way - you just charge the batteries with the charger and slip them in the phone (the stand is just to hold the thing up if you want to keep it in your bathroom that way vs storing it] - and there is a video review on Hatteker (a different model but much the same) on Youtube which explains the parts and how things clip on and off. Am taking the time on writing this as I was really shocked on the great result. I am sure there are others just as good but heh this is in stock, worked brilliantly and the price is excellent for the value. The main moral question is - what happens to the male haircutting and styling industry if we all get addicted to these things ? Not a pleasant question..... However you can rationalize getting one of these as the cost of one is the cost of a medium to higher grade haircut these days so what the heck. You can deal with the existential moral issues later... Enjoy

Well built & easy to use hair trimmer
I am very impressed with this hair trimmer. Note - this is a trimmer not a razor. I use it on its shortest setting with no comb attachment, and it cuts to about a 2mm stubble, which is fine for me, but if you want a smooth cut, buy something else. I find it very easy to use and the battery life is excellent. I have shaved my head at least 12 times and it is still on 80%. I expect it to dip faster as it gets towards the end, but even so, this is very good. It comes with a lot of accessories including a beard trimmer and a detail trimmer. They are easy to change, and I tried them once but couldn't see any benefit to them. I'll just use the normal head. I have marked it down by one star because of some slightly weird design features. It comes with a stand that is called the charging base, but you cannot charge the shaver while it's in the stand. It charges from a USB charger, but the plug at the shaver end is completely non-standard (a figure 8 plug) so you have to keep hold of that special cable and not lose it. It would be much better if it had a standard USB micro or USB C socket. It comes with a spare battery (that's good) but there is no way to charge it outside the shaver because it is in a totally non-standard caddy, so only charges in the shaver. There is a regular 18650 cell inside, but it is soldered in so you cannot take it out to charge. These are slightly frustrating flaws, but I still think it as a very good quality trimmer at an excellent price.

Great value for money
I wanted to replace a Wahl mains trimmer (which is big, heavy, and built like a tank), and a Remington cordless trimmer where the battery is realy on its way out, so I bought the 12-piece set, as I did not need all the additional accessories. I found the trimmer has a reassuring heft and a quality feel, supported by the discrete buzz it makes when in operation. So far (I've only had it for 24 hours!) it seems to work really well: it gives a neat trim without any pulling or scratching (I found both my previous trimmers could be very uncomfortable when trimming my head), and at the end of a 10-minute session (y Remington wouldn't have lasted that long!) the battery was still showing 100% charge. So, plus points are that this is a quality product with well-designed and well-chosen accessories, and good performance. USB charging is a huge plus, as it will charge from my computer charger units - no need to carry around a special charger! Battery capacity is plenty for a short trip away, and recharging is easy. Negative points are, frankly, few and trivial. It would be nice if the charging port were to USB-C standard, rather than needing a special cable. The device isn't as sleek and flashy as many of those from its better-known and more expensive competitors, and It may possibly even be a little heavier - but at up to ⅓ the price I'm not complaining about that!. No other negatives I can think of.

Excellent quality, fast charging, lasts for ages.
Why have I never heard of this make before? I bought these clippers on the strength of the other reviews, and I'm very glad that I did. The spec and reviews are so much better than similarly priced products from household names. I deliberately left it a good while before writing a review, so I could give these trimmers a lot of use and a few charges. I use them every week to keep my hair down to the lowest 0.5mm setting, and quickly pop a guard on to keep my beard a bit longer. It's well built, and feels substantial, while being easy to hold. The twisting micro adjuster has a positive action, as does the on/off button. The guards also clip on and off well. Being cordless it's very convenient to use, but still has lots of power and does the job very quickly and relatively quietly. Quite often the (brilliant) battery life indicator hasn't dropped at all by the time I'm finished. Even when it finally runs low, you can pop it onto the handy USB powered charger, and it's ready to go again in around an hour. I've been using these clippers every week for months now and have only needed to charge it twice so far. Superb!

Amazing, love it
Amazing! I Bought this clipper to cut my boys and it's very easy to use it, have so many numbers of different length. Fast battery charging and keeping energy for a long. My husband started to use it for his beard as well and it looks he's more then happy instead of normal beard clipper where need to change tops. Very happy with this product!

Gets everything right apart from the cutting
Bought this on the strength of the ~10,000 4-5 star reviews, but personally I think this is an over-hyped product. It gets so much right - the battery life is outstanding, it's built well (if a little plasticky), looks good, feels good in the hand, is quiet and comfortable to us, and it's a good price. All is well - until you come to the actual trimming of hair, and then it starts to go wrong. With the largest cutting blade attached, 0.5mm is not 0.5mm. It's closer to 1mm. So you can't get a really close shave with this thing. If like me you shave as close to the scalp/face as you can, with this thing you'll find you need to shave every day. With other, better trimmers, 0.5mm is actually 0.5mm, meaning you can get away with shaving every other day. Now, you can swap out the larger cutting blade for the mid-size 'detailing' blade - so a slightly smaller cutting area, but with the detailing blade you do get a very close shave. But it's *too* close. It's less than 0.5mm, which means it'll nick any moles and cause bleeding. And sure, you can raise the guard so the detailing blade is at 1.0mm, which is kinder to your skin (and any moles), but then you're back at the same problem you had with the larger blade, which is that you'll have to shave every day. Plus you'll be doing it with a smaller blade, so it'll take that little bit longer. You may as well stick with the larger blade. Now, if you use this thing to manscape, here's where things really go south (heh, pun not intended but I'm kinda pleased with it so I'm gonna pretend it was :) ). The longest you can set the 'built-in' guard to is an alleged 2.5mm, which, for manscaping purposes, is very short. It's stubble-on-your-chest (and anywhere else) short: uncomfortably itchy for you, and prickly and uncomfortable for anyone you sleep with. It leaves you looking like a plucked chicken, in fact. So you reach for the guard attachment, which - again, allegedly - can give you a 3mm (or longer) cut. But the 3mm you get with the guard attachment is way, way longer than the stubbly 2.5mm you get with the built-in guard. It's so long, in fact, that it hardly takes anything off, leaving a very 'natural' length of hair - ie, probably longer than you want it, otherwise why would you be manscaping? So if you like your manscaping to be either stubbly-short or largely ineffective, and if you like the stubbly look on your face/head and are happy to shave every day, or if you have a marble-smooth face/head with no moles at all and have the patience to shave with the 'detailing' head, then this is genuinely a great buy and you won't regret it. But if you like your manscaping to leave you trim but not prickly, or if you like to shave every other day, I'd keep looking. There are better shaver/trimmers out there, for just a few quid more. They might not have the amazing battery life that this thing does, but they'll be a much better shaving experience for you.

great trimmer
I cut my own hair at home, I was using and average trimmer for an year, so I finally went for the upgrade. and clippers are so much better. I can finally fade. + the dual length settings helps for extra blending in. I would say it slightly bigger than average, show using the corners can become a little iffy to use. overalll good performance, the noise isn't a lot too, it easy to clean, charging time is pretty fast, and the battery lasts quite long, and the power is good the blades very fast. I would say the provided gaurds, they start from 3 mm then there's 4-6, 7-9, 10-12, 16-19, 22-24. I world have preferred a little extra guards especially on the lower lengths. it's a hair clipper, so I don't see why would anyone want such a high end product just to cut their beard, you are looking to buy it only to cut your beard, then it's good too!

Clippers are fine but motor died shortly after a year
as title says. Clippers are fine but a little after a year into owning them the motor died. The battery life also doesn't display correctly. Only shows 70% no matter what the actual charge of the battery is.

Absolute winner
I had a lot of trimmers so far (that garbage Philiphs OneBlade, a quite expensive Remington, a more expensive Philiphs one)and all of them were more expensive, but none of them were as good as this one. The build quality is great, the extra accessories help a lot. Basically you can cut any kind of beard/hair that you would like to. I love that they include two batteries, so you never have to worry about running low. Highly recommended product and seriously my best trimmer ever. For this price, it is a no-brainer.
