The symbols were hard to see

The printed picture of the finished piece clearly shows all of the white on the quilt and bed skirt being filled in. However, it does not show as being stitched on the chart and there was scant white thread included. I had a skein+ of my own that I used. The piece looked unfinished to me without it.

This is my second sampler. I made the 'Bedtime Prayer Birth Sampler' (girl version) for my granddaughter so when baby brother came along it was a must to order this one. The quality is great. I'm always concerned when buying samplers there I won't have enough thread, but so far, so good. Highly recommend it. Turns out absolutely beautiful.

Nice kit. Ones with everything but the chart is printed small and even after I enlarged it it is still difficult to read. All black and white and weird symbols. I’m an experienced cross stitcher but 70 years old and don’t like trying to follow this chart.

Good product, but sometimes the symbol used in the instruction paper can get a bit of confusion, mainly due to the size of the printout.To overcome it, I scan it and enlarge it on a computer. Thus, I've a zoomed in version every time I needs to refer to it.

I bought this for my wife to make a beautiful framed cross stitch to be hung over our grandson's crib. The picture of a child saying his bedtime prayers is precious.

The floss came already organized w/ a needle. You have to study the floss chart of how many bunches of floss are with each color to label the colors on the little floss board. I am an experienced cross stitcher and I would say this pattern is difficult. Counting is a pain. I think all cross stitch kits should be stamped. I purchased a stamped baby sampler because the baby came premature and I need a baby sampler completed fast. It is beautiful and would look good matted blue w/ a white frame. Amazon Prime is the best to order these things as well. I really like Amazon Prime!
