Nice and soft
I had made a pair of sleeves, and it came out lovely. I understand it can be difficult to use for some though I used a larger hook. Great for a wearable piece, and do recommend even just to try out.

Fabulous yarn!
Absolutely my most favorite yarn to knit or crochet with! I have made several dozen blankets for gifts and a king size blanket for my husband and myself with this beautiful yarn. It stitches so easily, washes and dries beautifully, and stays incredibly soft. The colors are absolutely beautiful and I never tire of having these beautiful threads in my hands. This yarn is a joy to stitch with and has been for years!

Just what I needed to finish my blanket.
I am using this as a replacement for another yarn. Even though this is darker than the yarn I started with, it is a beautiful addition to the project. It is soft and comfortable to work up.

Hard to handle, but finished product looks good
This yarn has been discontinued by Lion Brand. I had purchased three skeins from a local shop at a deeply discounted price, then found I needed a fourth for the project I was knitting, so I bought this (more expensive) one from Amazon. Anyhow...the extremely thin fibers of this yarn are NOT twisted together. Instead they are tied together at intervals by a very thin thread. The effect is somewhat puffy, which I like. The problem, of course, is that it is very easy to split the fibers making up the strand and/or to catch the needle on one of the threads. Working with this stuff takes some getting used to and a lot of patience, to say the least. I very much enjoyed the way the colors transition into each other and the knitted fabric is very soft. I'm not crazy about the shine, but it's not a deal-breaker. If I can find more of this yarn in a different color combination and at a healthy discount, I'd buy it again.

I used this yarn to crochet a small blanket for my grandson. He likes the feel of the weight of blankets made with Homespun.

Wonderful Yarn
First off, due the nature of the yarn, it will occasionally catch a bit while working with it. I didn't consider that enough to remove a star. Aside from that, it is a pleasure to work with, and had a warm, comfortable feel when done that can only be described as snuggly. The above was made with Hepplewhite and Tudor so you can see how the colors work together.

I liked the ease of using this very bulky yarn to crochet. It is beautiful and soft and the colours are really pleasing to the eye. It responded well to a variety of different stitches - except the sc stitch which I changed it to the V stitch - which looked amazing.I did not like the fraying problem. I had to tie a knot in both ends of the yarn every time I started a new ball. However, the knots were well concealed with the bulkiness of the yarn. I have yet to see what happens when the item is laundered.
