The perfect addition to my new shower!

This was a much heavier, thicker and a nicer seat than I expected. It was really easy to install, 4 holes, 16" on center; exactly what I wanted. I installed it in the laundry room so that I had a seat for when I'm sorting clothes or taking the clothes out of the dryer. I did run into the problem of the seat not staying up in its upright position. When we closed the garage door, it would come down. I undid the bottom screws and put a large washer back behind it so it wasn't at an exact 90 degree. This resolved the seat falling down issue. I also decided to put the seat in upside down as it will be in its upright position most of the time and only down when I'm sitting on it. I wanted the nicer side to be visible on the wall. I would give it 5 stars if it had some resistance when folded up and didn't randomly fall down when the garage door closed.

I purchased this mount wall bench because my shower is too small and I wanted something I didn’t have to take in and out of the shower when I needed to standing only.Unfortunately this bench doesn’t stay up against the wall. I will be taking removing and now have to replace the tiles where it was installed. Also, a tip for the consumer: make sure where the shower pipes are before purchasing this bench. Due to a small shower, there was only one wall where the bench could be installed and there were also pipes at the bottom of that wall. The bench ended up being installed higher than anticipated and it was too high for me. The bench can get slippery and I had to tiptoe while sitting on it which made it more difficult for me to sit on it.
