Great Hose, No Brainer
I went back and forth on deciding on which hose to buy to use while working on our new construction home. This hose won out due to the price and the reviews, and I'm so glad I settled on this one. We no longer have to drag the air compressor all over the place since the hose has such a long range. It has worked flawlessly and has held up for several weeks now in a construction area. I did have to buy an adapter to attach the hose to the compressor, but that was easy enough to get at Lowes. Overall this is a solid buy for a well constructed hose at an excellent price. I always check the reviews of items before I buy so I try to give as many reviews as possible to help out others. If you found this review helpful please click "yes". I also always answer questions sent to me for items I've reviewed.

Supple, strong and bright
After many years my black rubber goodyear air hose sprung a leak. Great hose from a durability standpoint and the fact that it was black meant it never looked dirty. From a usability standpoint, well that was another matter. Very stiff, heavy, constantly getting hung up on stuff, and a real PITA to roll up - hot or cold. So far this hose has displayed the good qualities of the old hose and some better qualities of its own. Flexible, easy to roll up - hot or cold, and it's much lighter. It does show dirt and grease though and it is getting stained - life is too short to worry too much about that. As for long term durability, well it's too soon to testify to that. I originally ordered the 25' hybrid. On reflection, I cancelled that order about 5 minutes after I placed it and got the 50' instead. I'm glad I did, because this hose is light and flexible I can put that extra length to use without struggling with it. So far I like it and the cost for the 50' seems a good value.

What are you using it in?
Its got the memory thing going from when it was looped small. Im sure this would be fine in a hose reel but I use a hook on a wall and it is impossible to get it on there without it trying to twist in some direction. I thought it would relax after 6 months and warm weather but its goofy. Its well made and light and the price is good I just have issues with rolling it up.

Good quality, stays flexible even in cold weather
Review for "Giraffe Hybrid Polymer Air Hose, 3/8 in. x 25 FT., 1/4 in. MNPT Fittings, 300 PSI,Non-Kinking,Soft and Lightweight. Extreme All-Weather Flexibility, Excellent Uv, Oil and Abrasion Resistant".I decided to spend a few bucks more than the cheaper ones here on Amazon cost and I'm glad I did. I like this hose, it's well made and packaged. I've used it in 35°F temperature and the hose remains flexible, very impressed. It was delivered when promised.A good buy, I think.

Easy to See, and Flexible
I was surprised to find when I uncoiled this hose that it laid right out, no memory of being in a tight coil. I don't know what kind of material it's made of, but it's nice not needing to fight a bunch of loops. I liked the bright orange color, but after I got it I realized it makes sense from a safety viewpoint as well, since any cord or hose on the floor creates a tripping hazard. I like this hose and I'd buy it again.

Good item with one caveat
The hose seems sturdy and the fittings look solid. It needs a reel to keep it from snarling, but those cost four times what the hose cost, so I'll just coil it in tangles instead. The caveat is the smell, which is STRONG, and nasty, as if toxic. It stinks up my shop overnight and has not lessened much in a month or so. I look forward to the day when I don't have to hold my breath until I open some windows and turn on a fan. I even wash my hands after handling it. It would not surprise me if the outgassing products turn out to be hazardous. Caveat emptor!

Works, but smells bad
I use this hose in my wood shop and it seems to work fine. It is reasonably flexible and strong. However, it has a very strong chemical smell that I don't like even in my shop. I have already replaced it with a new hose

Good product so far.
Product as described in terms of ease of use. This 50' version is installed on a ceiling-mounted, spring-loaded hose reel and it works well. Have not used it long enough to evaluate durability however it appears to be of good construction. I marked this at 4 stars because I think Amazon and the seller should advise/warn the customer on the strong out-gassing odor from the new hose. Before purchasing I had seen some of the reviews pertaining to this subject so I let the product sit outside for three days before installing; however that is not nearly enough and the odor was still very strong inside the garage for at least another week.
