Extremely bright in a small package
Five levels of brightness:1. Firefly - long press side button then release. Bright enough during pitch darkness while camping. Will last for many days during survival mode if, God forbid, lost in the woods. Short click to turn off.2. Low - quick click to turn on then release. Long press and hold while the light is on to cycle through the low, medium, and high setting. Release the button at desired setting at low brightness. Quick click to turn off. Quick click to turn on and it will automatically go to your last setting, which this time is low. Bright enough for everyday typical periodic usage and the battery will last for weeks.3. Medium - follow the same steps to set as above #2.4. High - same steps as #2.5. Turbo - short click the tail button to turn on. Don't recommend leaving it on for more then a minute due to the high heat created from the concentrated light. If used at this setting for longer durations, it will automatically go to a lower brightness level. *(Repeated longer periods at the turbo mode will shorten the life of the flashlight due to repetitive high heat.) Lightly press the tail button without clicking to turn on but will turn off upon releasing the button.Suggestions:1. attach the clip 90° to the side button where your fingers and thumb can touch the clip when holding the flashlight, while the button is pointed upwards for easy access for your thumb. So the next time you want to use the light, you will always know where the button is in relation to the clip if it's dark.2. Place the flashlight in the holster with the side power button pointing towards the side of the holster to minimize accidental activation of the flashlight, such as when pressing against your body or external source.3. Place a small round paper cutout between the battery and the contact if it will not be used for a long duration such as days or weeks. This will prevent drainage of power and possible leakage of fluid if stored for months. This flashlight is the smallest one that I own with the most illumination. Its ability to throw the beam at a distance is another feature not available in other flashlights. It provides the best of both worlds from the lowest practical light level, Firefly mode, to the brightest beam, Turbo mode, if distance illumination is necessary. It's an excellent flashlight for law enforcement, military (not during actual combat due to the lack of a red filter) or emergency personnel. As with anything, care should be observed if you desire long-term usage.

Best value tactical flashlight
The good folks as Pew Pew Tactical (yes, that's a real website) recommended this as a "best value tactical light" and they were spot on. The light throws a tight, focused beam that reaches an insane distance on the high setting and doesn't really decrease all that much on medium and low settings. "Turbo" mode should really be called "Flamethrower" mode. It would definitely blind an aggressor (not that the high setting would not also). Warning, the maker is not kidding about not using Turbo or the high setting more than about 10 minutes without risking heat damage. This is also a great light to have in case of emergencies with extended power failures. Overall, a really solid tool for both every day carry and emergency prep.

Good flashlight, but too easy to accidently activate high-lumen mode.
Overall, a good light. Major drawback is that it is too easy to activate the high lumen mode and it generates quite a bit of heat. Need to be very careful if packing the flashlight for travel so that it is not accidently activated inside a packed bag.

powerful but useless
Very bright light, but the sheath melted the first time I tried to wear it. The light turned on on turbo mode while I was tying my shoelaces, luckily, I saw the smoke before getting burnt. I then carried the light clipped on my duty pants cargo pocket and got the same problem. A professional flashlight should not be carried locked, it has to be available instantly when needed. So, this model does not deserve the "pro" label. It gets very hot (my left leg will remember it).Otherwise, it's a fine light, with a good beam and nice power.Probably very nice to play around in the garden or do tabletop reviews on YT, but never to be used in a professional way, when important things (your life for example) could depend on it.I think the side switch might be too sensitive or not protected enough (some kind of shroud could be added, maybe).I'll keep it, but no clue what it will be used for...

Great little torch
My Mini-Maglite finally died after around 20 some years after dropping it. I decided on this torch after comparing dozens and watching YouTube reviews. Haven't needed to recharge it yet, as it came charged. Charging cable, lanyard, holster, clip and spare O-ring/Seals included. After reading the instructions and playing with it, (I have to read and play to retain info), it is very easy to operate. I found out that it is necessary to either single lock or double lock the torch. The side switch is a bit sensitive and can turn itself on accidently when putting in your pocket or holster. Brightness is really good. From the Firefly to Turbo mode. I was impressed with the amount of light from such a small torch. The price is good too. There are other torches with similar specs, but they are roughly twice the price and more. Good price, good product. Recommend this one.

POOR EASE OF USE
I bought this flashlight based on reviews and they are I think pretty close BUT the light has 2 switches and is overly complicated for the work I bought it for. I might be able to find another means of carry that takes care of some of this but so far without using the double lock feature clipping the light to the inside of my pocket does not work for me as now I have to unlock in order to use. It could be more useful if I can find another way to carry so it gets along with my other carry tools. The light is EXTREMELY bright in turbo which could be very useful in an outside setting but it's blinding inside the machines I service which relegates use to just the side button that I always have to find.To the Mfg: It would be an awesome flashlight if you could give the same features without the on/off side button which is a nuisance. Move the on/off to the end button which is a more secure and use the side button to toggle between modes but only when the light is in on. For my work this would greatly reduce the need to have a lock at all.
