This was just what I needed. I followed the instructions for making the edge protector flat and it worked perfectly-the adhesive is not clear but for my application is worked just fine. We made a platform bed using storage cubes for my daughter but had to soften the rough edge so she would not scrap her legs getting in and out.

Not as advertised
Waste of my time and money. The adhesive should come pre-applied so one simply has to peel off the second side. It's difficult to put the tape on the bumper, and then it wasn't clear after it was applied to the edge of my desk. I took it off and pitched it, waste of 10 bucks.

It provides nice protection. Follow the installation instructions.
The protector is a bit of a hassle to install but once installed it stays put and provides nice protection. I heated it per their recommendation and hung it vertical overnight. It was then straight and installed easily. Don't try to install it directly from the coiled package as it tries to coil itself like a snake. Once heated it's fine.

Followed the instructions to a tee and it peeled off in a day
Fiddly to put on but you better do it or else you don't stand a chance of the item working. Straighten the item out in hot water, let it cool a day, dried throuhly with a hair dryer. Placed the adhesive on the edge. Looked good for a day then I see the top part of the vinyl seperating from the adhesive. Won't waste my time with this again. Good luck!

PLEASE don't buy this product. It's meant to keep your children safe but it doesn't work! The bumper is not aesthetically pleasing and has started peeling off our table. The corner, which we were most concerned about, is completely exposed. We followed the directions completely. The 3M tape doesn't hold or stay together. We used binder clips to keep the ends to stay on the table while it stuck. Save your money and find another product to help protect your children. Don't buy this product.

Can't be attached.
Came rolled up in such a manner that it wouldn't lay flat. Followed instructions for boiling, which resulted in it being twisted along its length. Double-sided tape included wouldn't stick to either the edge protector or a wooden workbench. Tried hot gluing it in place, glue wouldn't stick. Might as well have just lit money on fire.

does what it says to do but the application is an awful process and the tape turns the clear protector strip into a foggy mess
