A good, not great, quality stethoscope. A clear strong pick-up when auscultating the chest and bowel sounds, as for heart sounds ...its okay. It's well made and although it's not a Litmans, its not far off. The head and diaphragm aren't quite the same quality but then then its half the price. I've used mine everyday for just over a year in all conditions ( I'm a Paramedic ) It's been thrown in the bottom of my bag, stood on, dropped, caught in door handles etc and it's taken me over a year to break it so its pretty robust. I'm here to order another replacement so that's the best recommendation I can offer. Why aren't I buying a Litmans....it breaks my ( penny pinching Yorkshire) heart when I leave them on scene...

I bought this as a cheaper alternative to the Littmans stethoscope, as a paramedic I have a habit of losing my steths during shifts.I am so pleased with it, I think the hearing quality is actually better than the Littmans, and it is sturdy enough to being kept in my pocket throughout a shift.Would thoroughly recommend this product, I certainly won't be buying another brand again.And one more thing, one of the ear buds has gone missing, but having got in touch with MDF they are sending me a replacement pair (awaiting delivery at the time of writing) free of charge.

Impressed with this for the price... but still went and bought a Littman 9 months later anyway.Very stiff tubing and less nuance to the auscultation ability of this stethoscope, but for 30 quid if you find you're always losing them (like me) or are strapped for cash it's a very robust little bit of kit that does exactly what it says on the tin.For me though, if you're in medicine for the long-haul then you're spending £120 instead of £90 if you buy one of these instead of a littman cos the littman will just get bought later anyway. That said, £30 is a steal for something that does work very well and picks up 90% of what's needed - in a career like medicine though I think that little bit extra is worth it (with diminishing returns when it comes to your £300 specialist cardiology models etc.)

I'm a veterinary nurse. I use stethoscopes everyday for almost 12 years. This is my 3rd stethoscope and I wanted something a bit different. I've had a littman and they are wonderful stethoscopes.I was a little reserved getting this because its new and a lot of money (people seemed to have gotten it at a third of the price I paid somehow) but none the less I got it anyway. I wanted a nice design and was kind of bored of the solid colours. Even a rainbow bell doesn't wow me as much anymore. (1st world problems).Anywhooo this is a great stethoscope and every bit as good as a littman. Honestly if you're on the fence about which to get but want a really nice stethoscope get this one. It even comes with bell protectors and no it doesn't mean you get a free box of condoms. And ear pieces in different sizes to make sure it's right for you.100% would recommend and if I lose this one too I'd still come back and get this rather than a littman just as good but way prettier.

If you think it's as good as a Littmann be prepared to be a little disappointed. I find the membrane to be very stiff and doesn't seem to transmit sounds as well as the more expensive stethescopes. Having said that, it is ideal for students that have a limited budget. It does what it says on the package.

Good stethoscope for basic diagnostics and emergencies. Still I would prefer a Littmann. Great customer support, I've asked for black ear pieces and rubber protection for chest piece and they provided me the items at no extra cost.

I'm an ECA and this suits my needs perfectly, the only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is I caught one of the ear pieces and it broke in half, when I tried to order more you can't buy this brand so I've ordered some and hope they fit. Other than that great product

Brilliant product not only does it do the job it’s designed to do but it’s actually pretty durable. Unfortunately my bag fell out of the ambulance & was run over by a car majority of the stuff in my bag was ruined but my stethoscope was near pristine. The bottom part does have a crack to it so I’ve had to but a bit of tape on it not to scratch the patient, but it still works really really well! Next thing to trial is this replacement parts which I’m very pleased about & will be in contact soon regarding it :)
