Bush Furniture Key West Secretary Desk with Keyboard Tray and Storage Cabinet in Washed Gray

This is a very attractive and sturdy “hidden” desk. I wanted a desk that didn’t look like a cluttered desk. It has a lot of storage for my printer, paper, school supplies. It says it’s for a laptop but I am going to use it for my laptop and for my all-in-one desktop computer for my kids. The lower shelf is perfectly sized for a printer. The drawer is just big enough for a keyboard and mouse. Assembly was pretty easy and straightforward. It is kid friendly and multipurpose. I love the rustic look and it goes perfectly with my decor. I want to get another one for upstairs.

as expected, I was able to assemble on my own. yes the cabinet doors are a tad crooked but not noticeable unless inspecting carefully, and even so this is from someone who constructed this on their own without help or good tools, or really that much care and attention. it's pretty. it functions as a pull out desk for my computer so my cats stop laying on it. it has a lot of space. i'd recommend, especially for the price.

I love this cabinet. It’s one of my favorite pieces for our small lake cabin. My husband said it was time consuming to put together but not difficult. Good instructions and everything fit like it’s supposed to. Very heavy and sturdy with a beautiful finish. Looks much more expensive. I like that it’s versatile for different purposes. I use the cabinet as a liquor cabinet and the top as the bar for the ice bucket and making drinks. I store my and my husband’s lap tops, mouse and mouse pads in the slide out keyboard tray. I can use it as a desk when I’m on my lap top.

Beautiful, great quality, it was a little challenging to put together but my came with all parts and put together nicely. I would say it's similar to you average ikea or walmart put together, just have to really look into things before you put it together as the amounts of parts make it more challenging. I am not a building pro and I figured it out! Definitely worth the price!

What I like about this desk is it fits my large printer, is a great color, and is sturdy. It does scratch very easily like other reviewers mentioned, but the paint variation in the one I got made it blend in a little. What I struggled with is installing the drawer. I couldn’t get it flush no matter what I did. I watched the video. They have available on YouTube and still couldn’t make it work. Finally, I decided to remove the bumpers that stop it from sliding to the back and hammered back the metal piece that makes it stop. It made the drawer flush and it’s still brakes the drawer. Overall a pretty nice item and I ordered another one to match but I know what to do now if I encounter any of the issues when my next one arrives. It looks really beautiful in my home.

Overall, I give this a high rating. It is exactly what I was looking for to fit my needs. It works well to keep my clutter out of sight and I can keep my laptop inside. I bought the matching organizers to go on top. My criticism is that the writing/laptop surface slides easily and there is no stop when you have the drawer pulled out. If you lean on it at all, the drawer slides back. And if you want room to spread out and work, you will be disappointed. It was really easy to assemble, though, and the parts are clearly labled. It is sturdy enough if you aren't hard on furniture. But, I'm sure it won't last forever. This is no heirloom piece. I am satisfied and it will serve my needs.

We bought this to put our bird cage on and while it serves its purpose and had a nice color to it, its not going to be a permanent solution. The assembly was kind of difficult and tedious, and the doors are uneven. We tried everything to correct this but it seems like over time they just slowly start detaching again and we cannot fix it. It is sturdy enough for the bird cage, but I'm Anticipating losing the doors at some point. A little disappointing but it's otherwise a beautiful piece.

I'll admit to being a little intimidated looking at the directions initially however I pushed through them by myself with zero trouble. It isn't a fine piece of furniture but for the price, it totally works! I have zero complaints. It was packaged very well. Directions were easy to understand and everything was labeled. It has a smidge more brown in it than I'd prefer but that doesn't stop me from liking it. It is placed against true gray so the brown really sticks out.
