This cage is appropriate for one bird only, otherwise it's just too crowded. The top snaps into place to attach to the plastic bottom. I wired the top in place as it felt it might loosen if I lifted it by it's top carry handle. The front door is so large, opening it is like removing the whole front panel of the cage. Your bird could fly out past you. There are lift doors for changing the food and water cups. I didn't put the covers on those cups as my bird didn't want to stick his head in them. The front lift doors don't stay up, you have to hold them up.There are two wood dowel perches. The sides have horizontal bars and the front and back have vertical bars, making perch placement limited. There is a pull out bottom tray to replace the cage liner, so it's not too hard to keep clean. Just touching the cage makes it rattle and echo around my bird. It feels flimsy. I will keep this cage as a travel cage only.

A bit flimsy. If you're looking for a cockatiel cage, this is too small. We use it for a night/travel cage for ours, and if we want to have him hanging out with us in a different room than his main cage is in. The dishes that come with it are the cheapest possible flimsy plastic. But it works.

I got this as a travel cage and it works fine for that purpose. Although the construction feels quite flimsy and and things rattle, it hasn't fallen apart.In my opinion this cage is claustrophically small if you're considering it as a main cage, even for one bird, and even if you let them out regularly for exercise.

Easy to put together, easy to take apart (to clean). Very satisfied.
