Alice's Nightmare in Wonderland Colouring Book: 1 (Snowbooks Fantasy Colouring Books, 1)

The designs are superb, its the paper that lets this amazing book down. Its thinner than my photo copier paper and ruins a damn fine colouring book. Sad to think great designers and illustrators have their work displayed so shabbily.

Quick delivery. Great book Don't know why people are complaining it's a dark book. It's a 'nightmare theme' it's not going to be bright and pretty lol. I've managed to colour my whole book. Can't wait to purchase the 2nd one!

Amazing artwork: manages to keep the feel of the original with a creepy twist. I like the main images (the rabbit is my favourite) but also admire all the quirky details round the edges of each main illustration. I can see what people mean about it being a bit dark and not leaving enough room for colour, but the quality of the imaginative pictures tips the balance towards a 4 star: maybe the next one could leave more room for colouring in.

I struggle to make a decision when there are only 2 reviews, one good and one bad, so here is my review. I love the pictures they are very quirky, however they are very black and do not really leave room for much colour. The book is not very thick and the pages are very thin, so any colouring needs to be done in pencil. I do love the drawings though!

Do not buy. Very thin book and you cant colour it in. The pictures are 99% black so theres hardly any room for colours. Really disappointed. I was expecting medium thickness book that i could colour in and use my imagination. I would expect to find this in poundland.

First, I am an ‘adult colorer’ that, until recently, haven’t had much experience coloring since grade school and with just crayola crayons/markers. Second, the paper is quite thin. I wouldn’t suggest using markers or watercolors if you plan to color both sides of each page. I have been using Prismacolor colored pencils. This isn’t a coloring book for everyone. I, very much, enjoyed the darker aspects of the artwork and small storyline. I’m a novice when it comes to understanding light sources and shading so having the guess work taken out for me was great! This allowed me to have depth in my coloring that I am not able to have regularly. There were some areas that were harder to color due to the pre-filled shading but that’s not a deal breaker for me. Overall, I have really enjoyed coloring this book.

Odd colouring book as most pages are shades of grey. I did read this in other reviews, but it was a request fir Christmas. So i ordered it. Looks like more of a story book then a colouring book.

J ai acheter se livre en cadeau, il est très beau mais je ne pense pas qu il finira comme livre de coloriage. Il est original et si vous comprennais l anglais, il y a une petit histoire mais les pages n ont pas l air prévu pour être colorier, dommage
