Note 1 für Freihändiges führen Note 2 für Nacht/abenddämmerung.

I have some Canon 10x20 stabilised binoculars but always wanted more magnification. Decided to go for these and am so pleased I did. The weight, handling and general feel of these binoculars is incredible. The extra stabilisation when in Target mode is amazing and far superior to the Canon which I had thought could not be improved on. They are an expensive purchase but the quality and performance completely justifies the price in my opinion. It’s great to have a product that when you first take out of the box is a pleasure to own even before you use it. If you are considering these, don’t hesitate just push that button.

These are excellent binoculars. I had to ask a colleague about the brand Sig Sauer, as I was completely unfamiliar with it. They advised me that they manufacture and market weapons and are some of the finest examples that you can find and rest assured whatever they offered would be a very good quality. I was looking for something more powerful than my current Canon image stabilising binoculars (12 x36) and wanted to move up to 20 times magnification. It's important to recognise that the function for these binoculars is that of a specific application which is perhaps target shooting, hunting, target checking. My only experience with full bore rifles is a in a Royal Air Force uniform on a 400 yard range using the old SLR rifle in the late 70s. These binoculars would be absolutely ideal for the application as they are powerful and study and have a focused field of view. If you want to use these four that type of application then they are ideal and I would recommend them without hesitation and give them five stars. My first use I was able to zoom in on bees collecting nectar and they were solid and reassuring with the look and feel however the field of vision was narrow which is not surprising as they are very well made light and compact and only use 1 battery. The switch for the image stabilisation is stiff and reassuring, the focus adjustment again was businesslike and well made the general appearance of the unit is good and manufactured in a colour that would be stealthy in undergrowth and in particular hunting situations. The application that I required them for was less specific and required a much wider field of vision. For example tracking high flying aircraft at 35,000 feet took some doing, to acquire the target this is due to the high power and compact field of view. However, once acquired the level of detail is impeccable. They are manufactured by a very good highly recommended manufacturer of weaponry and as such are specifically focused on a small field of view, perhaps target verification to score or verify the point where the target is struck. The requirement I have is less specific and more generic and this is the only reason they lost one star. Exceptionally well made, good value for money, But rather suited to the specific task; my need was to expand on the star gazing capabilities of the Canon units. But these offer a powerful alternative.

About 15 years ago I bought my first IS binoculars. They were Canon 8x and the stabilisation was amazing. It still is. I subsequently bought some Canon 18x50 and was underwhelmed by the stabilisation. These however are a revelation. I was worried i might be throwing my money away. They make the image really steady and are now far in advance of the large Canons. Thoroughly recommend.

If you’re thinking about getting some stabilizing binoculars, these are the ones. Total game changer for hunting. We used these on a buck hunt and a bull hunt and it made the difficult task of spotting antlers way easier. Image comes through nice and bright with no shakiness. One thing we did discover was that when we used walkie-talkies near them, the stabilizing feature would shut off. Not sure exactly what the deal with that is but not a problem to turn them back on.
