Works great

Plenty of measurement modes - measure from the base, measure from the top, continuous measurement. Will display the last 3 measurements and the current one. Very accurate - I haven't had any issue with it so far. Small (10cm high, and slim), so fits in your pocket, but big enough to be comfortable to hold. Buttons feel like they will last. Tough housing too. Quick and easy to use Barely used the app since the start of a new building project, but it was useful. Batteries last ages. Worth every penny.

Fantastic bit of kit and having the app makes keeping track of everything a breeze. Seems to be very accurate when compared against a couple of tape measures. A lot quicker for taking measurements too. Screen is nice and bright and clearly shows what you’re doing. Easy to switch between different modes too, area mode made a recent painting project a lot easier when figuring out how much paint we’d need. Only complaint is it uses disposable batteries, really should be a rechargeable unit at this price point.

First off, sorry about the reflection on the photo. It was the light overhead that is reflected. I love this laser measure, it's small, neat, precise and well made. In use it is very accurate - I tested against tapes and rulers - and it takes a lot of frustration out of getting a precise measurement when measuring rooms, walls and distances between two objects. It is quite basic, which is what most people need and it holds the measurements on screen for when they need to be collected. (At this point I have to admit that I probably will not use the Bluetooth, so I am unable to comment on that side of it). Being small, it fits perfectly into any pocket, which for me makes it perfect, especially if I need to carry it around. Being a Bosch - and yes I am a big fan of all things Bosch - I feel happy using it and feel all the readings it gives are accurate, which does take a lot of worry away. I also like the fact that you can measure from either the front of the device or the back (I know that is normal, but I just wanted to add this piece of information). The unit comes in a material pouch which is tough enough to keep it in when not being used. The 2 x AAA batteries needed to power the device are included. There is also a thick book which actually is written in so many languages that the thin book would be just a 11 page leaflet - such is the way things are now. For me, this is a great piece of kit and I love it - AND it's a Bosch.
