What part of the rice cooker triggers the prop 65 warning?

Hello! The following parts contain chemicals that fall under the Prop 65 warning: Plastic Parts Sealing Ring Rubber Metal Housing PCB These items do not come in contact with food, making this appliance still food safe.

If I buy this and chip the pot, is there an option to buy just a replacement pot?

I did search the internet before I bought this rice cooker just in case an accident did happen but I could not find anywhere that sold a replacement pot so I guess my answer would have to be no. I went ahead and bought the cooker because I knew the rice is much tastier than in a metal pot. I am just very careful when washing it and am extra careful not to bang or tap the edge with the spoon. We recommend doing so mainly for the conservation of energy. There is no negative effect to the appliance itself if left plugged in just as you would a toaster or coffee maker.

Can you cook dry beans in this?

You should never cook your beans dry any way...anything can be cooked in a multicooker.
